There is nothing else out there worth buying. I've played games with ATMOS sound and they were amazing. Same for TV and Movies and even using the DTS:X is so awesome. It turns your bedroom (in my case) into a cinema sound system. The FULL RANGE of audio that just tingles your ears. Plus there's all the other features to it. Bottom line: The best TV audio purchase i've made in 20 years.

Really incredible sound!

This is 800 watts 100 watts per coaxial front firing bass combination speakers with 2 ceiling reflected atmos speakers for front firing Surround Sound with a wireless subwoofer besides. You also get a separate remote to control everything you can imagine in in hi-ref audio music and sound including volume and subwoofer levels. With this unit the sound bar becomes the receiver so you attach your blu-ray player and your tv (ARC) to (ARC) for tv into the sound bar. Crisp, Clean, Crash, Bang, Boom even with violins in your room.

Sony needs to reengineer their Products so they all play together from a single remote. Yes the TV, Soundbar Blu Ray are sync’d. But there are gaps in functionality so handling 2 remotes is still required.

The ST5000 actually features BRAVIA Sync and control for HDMI function which allows you to control the system using your Sony TV remote. Great sound and major bass

The difference is night and day (OF COURSE it would be). The bass booms during games or intense movie sequences, the sound produced from the speakers is crisp. Sure it is pretty costly, but it isn't your run of the mill soundbar setup.
