||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a true 5.1 setup in my living room (soon to be 5.1.2) so I was skeptical about this 7.1.2 soundbar but let me just say that the sound on this thing is amazing. When playing an atmos enabled movie you can truly hear the up firing speakers rain down on you with hi-res sound. The sub on this system is also extremely powerful, and the soundbar supporting HDMI switching was a nice benefit. 5/5 would highly recommend.

This was disappointing and reallys surprised that the sales rep. didn't inform us of this fact when we purchased the product.

Room filling sound and the bass will definitely shake the walls. The 3D surround effects aren't bad but nothing can replace physical speakers. The only other sound bar to surpass this one costs twice as much. Highly recommend the HT-ST5000.

I updated some settings based on other user recommendations. The sound does not drop, but you can hear a noticeable stop /start of the sound every so often.

Entering the distance from the soundbar to where you sit works great for sound effects but not for dialogue I was looking for something w/good sound effects & dialogue but I have returned this soundbar for a receiver & speaker surround sound

The unit has a "VOICE" function which makes dialogues clearer. Enabling this feature might have changed your experience. I paired this sound system with my Sony 4KUHD TV. The Sound quality if good with the exception of the occasional "popping" noises from the sub-woofer, but other than that - very happy.
