This setup definitely does not replace the need for surround sound rear speakers as advertised, worse part is they can't even be added to this unit. The sound from the sound bar does sound good though, just nearly non existent surround sound. The bass is also very underwhelming for this price, the overall loudness of the system for our theater room is also kind of low. If I could do it again I would set up my own individually picked items for a setup for a whole lot less money and a whole lot better sound quality.

The subwoofer has great bass, too. It was much louder, clearer and fuller than I expected. It is larger than previous sound bars I’ve owned, so check the specs. I’m very pleased with it.

Little heavy and bulky though. Set up is not easy, but once set up works great.
