Although it doesn’t allow for additional rear speakers, it still creates amazing sound and fills the room. My recommendation is everyone use the ARC connection on their TV and ensure you set it up for the distance to your couch and ceiling. It required a little work, but when done properly this system is great!

It does really well in volume and bass and is good with replicating movies and shows with decent 3.1 format. The sound bar really falls short in replicating a true surround sound experience because of the lack of rear speakers. Bottom line: buy this if you only want a really good sound bar and sub... No sound bar comes close to a real surround sound system

Excellent sound. My only complaint is the sound bar only goes up to 50 well the sound is excellent, sometimes I want my neighbors at the end of the block to hear my music, however this only allows my neighbors next door to hear it. But this is an excellent sound bar for any large living room... easily connects to bluetooth, wifi, etc.

Amazing Atmos soundbar by Sony!

This is perfect Atmos soundbar for me! I believe that having the proper floor dimensions makes a huge difference in sound. My living room is 14' x 16' exact, so the sounds that I hear coming from this Atmos soundbar are just amazing! The bass is definitely deep and tight. The Atmos height reproduction allows you to hear the sound above you. Makes watching movies more exciting. The only downside so far is that there is no DTS:X yet. Supposedly there will be an update before the end of the year to enable DTS:X which will make it the best Atmos soundbar on the market for the price.

Superb Soundbar

This would be a surefire 5-star product except for the sound profiles. The 3D surround sound is great as is the Voice adjustment. The others are just okay. I wish manufacturers would just put in an equalizer or a Bass, Treble, MidRange controller so the customer could just select their own settings. Other than that this is a fabulous unit.

Will not connect to rear speakers, even though the rear speakers are also Sony and I bought all at the same time with that expectation from the salesperson. Will be returning the sound bar to go with a traditional speaker system to get full surround sound.

Do yourself a favor invest on the right hdmi cable!

It's wireless so you can place the subwoofer anywhere in the room. You can set the levels based on the size of your room going up to 16.5 feet which is nice for large spaces. The only drawback is there isn't an autocalibration feature.

Pod race scene on a Phantom Menance, Baby Driver car chases, Mad Max Fury Road, they all improve just from this piece of equipment. It’s amazing!!!

I expected higher quality sound distinction for dialog. I still have to turn sound up during quiet moments to hear conversations and then back down when music or background noise rises in the soundtrack.

Love The Quality Of Sound That This Setup Puts Out. Would’ve Given A Five Star Rating, But For Some Reason When I Want To Watch A Certain Movie Or Even On A Different Movie Platform Sound Doesn’t Come Out! For The Most Part We Love It!
