Decent receiver. Remote is a little clunky. Pairs well with other Sony products. Controls TV volume, turns on TV and rec. with 1 remote. Offers 2 additional zones that can be completely customized - example: play radio on your patio while watching/listening to different audio in another room. Overall a good solid unit!

System is great, smart , not complicated to operate

Sony did a great job making sure this receiver has all the "bells and whistles" while maintaining excellent sound quality, at an affordable price. Highly recommend grabbing one before they sell out and are replaced by the 2017 model. I got mine at a huge, unadvertised, low price because it's last years model

Exactly what I needed for 5.1 surround in the living room and separate signals on my back covered patio. Used in conjunction with def tech outdoor speakers and osd volume control for zone 2. Perfect compatability and great wireless functionality. Just wish Sony included this in their premium product lines.

Well, very amazing to see this full featured rcvr that connects CAT5 to internet network, has amazing graphic menu for setup and plenty of power. HDMI does video and audio. Only strange issue was ZONE2 has limited Source selection...very weird. Great value and power for price.

I replaced a reliable but old & failing Onkyo. This product works well, has multiple connections, processes A/V fine. Only complaint is it has a fixed sound level for separate Zone 2 speakers, not even allowing the input device volume to affect output volume. A bit cumbersome.

This unit replaced the previous Sony model because I needed 4K, HDR, and HDMI 2.2 support. It also gave me a bit more power. The bottom line is it works great, sounds even better and I am very glad I pulled the trigger on this unit. Could not have made a better choice for the price.

Ive had it for 1.5 months so far. No issues, works flawlessly with my iphone even tho is designed for google cast. I can turn it on and start playing music from my phone without getting even near to the receiver. The performance is just as expected from a sony product. 5 stars.

My new sony surrond sound sounds great . I am playing cd's I haven't heard in years. All the movies sound like I am at a theater. The full motion tv mount extends far enough rom the wall that I can kitty corner a 60" tv

I bought this reciever to pair with my Sony XBR65X930D. Setup went super smooth. I am using the RAC with the TV apps, it works great. I have my XBOX ONE S connected, looks awesome, make sure to set your HDMI to enhanced to get HDR and 4K.

This is a good receiver but it locked up after a week and it had to be sent in to reset the unit. I think I should have been able to reset the unit at home instead of sending it in for repair and waiting over a week for it to come back.

This is a great receiver. Many options for using it. It can be fairly complicated to get used to. The documentation is a little sketchy. That aside, I am very happy with the unit. The sound is tremendous and setting it up was easy.

I bought this receiver as an open box item. It had all the accessories with it and looked brand new. The unit worked great. I also used the zone 2 output of it. It had streaming capability and nice sound output.

Very easy setup. Sound is not as good as the Bose system it replaced although it uses Bose speakers. iPhone app to control second zone keeps kids from coming in wet from the pool to adjust volume or source.

Lots option settings I haven't figured out for 10 speaker multi zone setup but geek squad should help when they come. Happy with everything thought. Receiver looks super clean which is the look I was going for.
