Was pretty easy to set up. My first receiver that's Bluetooth and wifi ready and both of those things make it better

Another Great Stereo Receiver from Sony! Very easy setup with a great simple remote.

This was an upgrade from the DN840. I wanted an upgrade in power and really like the new user interface of the newer models.

I was looking for a reciever that was reasonably priced but offered a variety of options. Haven't tried Zone 2 yet but, initial set up was fairly easy. The price was reduced at Christmas but, I was already set to purchase. I am by no means an expert but, I am confident that this reciever will last quite a long time.

I am totally loving this new Receiver!! It was so easy to set up and it has plenty of ports for all my products!!

I've had Denon, and Yamaha,and this Sony is the best one yet. Sony has done it right with this one. Five stars

I bought this reciever for my inlaws and unfortunatly they dont have the greatest tv for this stuff, its pretty old. I noticed I was having trouble connecting the blue ray to the reciver via HDMI and then the reciever to the tv via RCA. Not sure why this is an issue how ever it does not work. If there was an some kind of better conversion for the code built in that would be great. Other wise it looks great and is doing the job fine for now.

I was very pleased with the sound quality. The documents I found online were a big help in setting up.

This receiver should be in the Magnolia area but for some reason it's not. The sound quality is excellent and it pairs well with the rest of my Sony home theater components. The secondary zone is great for adding music to another room and the power is phenomenal. This is a great buy all the way.

I have always loved Sony products, and this r cover did not fail my expectations! Easy to set up!

I previously had an Sony STRDN1040 receiver which started giving me some problems. This newer model is much more customer friendly and has a less cluttered remote control. Stepping through the various menus has been much more pleasing to do. Since It is paired with my Sony 4K TV, it becomes a perfect complement, especially with needing to change from speaker mode on TV to using the speakers throughout my entire system. .

All I can say this reciever has everything !!!!! Great sound great user face out of sight!!!!

Great sound. Love the 2 HDMI for home theater and a second flat panel. Best value out there!

I did not keep this receiver. It was not because of a bad unit. The Sony 1050 sounded awesome and was very easy to set up. Movies enveloped you with sound. I decided to go with Onkyo to try out Dolby Atmos. But if you are looking for an easy to set up unit, this Sony is it.

Lots of options, lots of power. I bought this unit to rplace my aging other unit.

I love my Sony Receiver. I was easy to set up and does everything that I was wanting.

I've been using this receiver for about a month now with absolutely no issues. The sound quality is great and the interface is very simple to navigate. Which for me is a plus because my wife and kids can pickup the remote and use the surround sound without any issues

This receiver provides wonderful sound for watching shows, movies, or sports events.

Love it. Easy setup and easy use!! On the tv setup is nice getting it working.

The receiver is very easy to set up and use. It has plenty of HDMI ports so all my equipment runs through the receiver to the TV. The only down side is that I need to have the receiver on and tuned to SAT/CAB to get video to show up from the cable box. My old receiver would pass through the video and allow you to use the TV speakers. Small issue though as I use the receiver 90% of the time.
