    This is actually my third Sony receiver. I liked this one so much that I purchased one for my RV and for my vacation home. Plenty of HDMI ports, easy on-screen set-up and plenty of power along with clear sound.

    The set up of receiver and speakers is outstanding. Makes listening to records a most enjoyable experience, just like in the old days. Records are back and I needed to upgrade power and sound to get the most out of the experience.

    Own Sony TV's and can sync my I PHONE, IPAD, and my Mac to the receiver effortlessly. The Bose 901's and 501's speakers makes the investment of the receiver well worth the cost of the upgrade. This system is user friendly taking about an hour and 1/2 to run speaker wires, connect Playstation, CD player, and Blue-ray Disc player using HDMI cables.

    Purchased the Sony - 1155W 7.2-Ch. Network-Ready 4K Ultra HD and 3D Pass-Through receiver to go with my Samsung 8550 4k tv. Receiver working great, only issue is receiver does not completely shutoff until unplugged from the electric socket. Love the options to play sound on different in different sound modes. Recommend this product.

    I love sony receivers, good sound and awesome features. Only bummer on this years model is that they dropped support for party mode. . . . oh well, can't win em' all. I would still totally recommend this unit.

    Although I love the receiver, I was disappointed that the component didn't come with any instructions on how to set-up. I had to find set-up instructions on the web and download and print (over 200pgs) to learn how to set up the receiver.

    Lots of functions, only issue is that doesn't get along with my 70" VIZIO, it's in CEC to control the amplifier thru my VIZIO tv and won't get it to get along already contacted SONY and apparently only SONY TVs won't have that issue.

    So I looked for quite a while online for a stereo until I chose this model from Sony. It was rated best in it's class and had everything I was looking for. The one downside was that the HDMI blew after 3 weeks. This was no big deal though as I just took it back and got a new one. I love it to death.

    Not difficult to install or set up. Excellent sound, only issue is that the zone 2 does not turn off when you shut down the main power, it needs to be turned off separately.
