I had been looking to get a larger screen TV to upgrade from the 60 inch Samsung I bought 3 years ago. After numerous trips to Best Buy trying to decide what TV to get, the representatives from Magnolia all recommended that I buy this Sony. I had been reading all the reviews, and saw alot of negative ones along with the positive ones, so I was a little hesitant. I have had the TV now for 3 days, and I can tell you that the picture is incredible. Setup was simple, the only thing was trying to decide what picture setting to use( ended up using Cinema Home and CInema Pro). The colors are incredible, especially the reds, greens and blues, and the black level is great. So far, I am very pleased with this TV., and getting it on sale just made the choice alot easier. So after agonizing between getting another Samsung( for $1000 more to get the same motion rate ) or getting this Sony, so far I am very pleased with my decision.

This is my 3rd Sony Bravia. Though I look other brands. I always decide to go for SONY because of its amazing picture quality & sound. I mainly vote for the sound which is a miss in other brands. Trust me you will never regret after choosing Sony.. This is my first 4K TV and pretty good size and so far no regrets. Currently 4k is not supported for most of the channels, but hoping to watch more in the future. It would have been better if the TV comes with a pair of 3D glasses. I think Sony should do that.

We bought this TV during Xmas time. I am a very picky person and I did a lot of research before I bought this amazing TV. When I was buying this TV I compared it with Samsung and beside price I did not find anything better than Samsung. I am huge fan of Samsung and I already have Samsung but this price and screen Sony took more points. My whole family love this TV, I am glad I did the right decision. Geek Squad also did amazing job of wall mounting!!

I expected better for the price. The preset picture modes are terrible. I had to spend a lot of time tweaking the various modes to get them right. The biggest problem with them was the clarity. Once I got them adjusted properly, the picture was excellent. I actually think the colors look more real and life-like than a Samsung 4k curved TV that I have. I've had issues with the TV shutting off for no reason and the red lights blinking. I pull the plug out, wait a few minutes, plug it back in and the TV is fine. This happens a few times per week. I hope one of the updates fixes the problem. I notice less motion blur than the Samsung 4K so I give credit to Sony for that. Netflix works good as does Youtube. So overall I only give it a 4 because of the few issues I mention. The picture is very good once you get it adjusted. It wasn't a cheap TV so I expected better from Sony. I also have a 55 inch older Sony XBR that looked great right out of the box when I bought it.

I had to change the color and brightness everytime I watched something different. It just had a bad picture overall

Unacceptable for a $5000 television. Sony was supposed to be a premium product! Very Disappointed!!!!!

After Calibration this tv comes to life. Got a smoking deal 2799 open box. Enjoy watching 4k on youtube cant wait for more 4k content. Really upscales 1080P Satisfied so far. Wished Amazon and Vudu streamed in 5.1 Dolby therefore the 4 stars

I bought my first XBR75X850C in the beginning of June and had several failures with the network interface had to reset each time to get the system to work. Went to a local Best Buy store and the salesman was great he called the sony rep. and they authorized bestbuy to replace my TV. Low and behold I got my new tv and every signal is out of sync between the lips and sound, called sony and got some answering service was told the 4k department I need to talk to was closed and someone would call me back within 24 hours. 3 days later and a second call and still no one from sony has called! I don't know if this was do to the latest update because never had the voice problem with the last one. I am recommending this for the picture quality but need better support from Sony.

Seriously, you just can't go wrong with this TV! One of the BEST thing i like about that, that it's not oversaturated as other brands.Just Perfect! Contrast is perfect too.Since i bough this TV i can't stop watching it:-) Blue Ray movies will blow you away from your chair! The best TV i ever bought, period.

Bought this 75" Sony for our family room. Fantastic picture in both day and night settings. Detail is fantastic, especially with the upscaling capabilities of this unit.

Hello I have had my TV for 2 weeks now and I have no complaints! Picture quality is good and I have Direct TV. I have not had one issue as others say they have. I have Netflix and when I stream a movie the picture quality is Really Good. My wife bought me a Sony Blu Ray player and I have watched some movies that I have already seen in blu ray and I am seeing things that I have never seen before! The deatail in the buildings, clarity of face details are mind blowing! Totally Awesome TV!!!!

Absolutely love football on this TV. The end. Everything after football is a bonus on this beautiful huge 4K UHD TV. I love the special football color adjust button on the bottom right of the remote. TV purist will hate that button; sports guys will love it. The Netflix button on remote works flawlessly. I know if I paid twice as much I could have had blacker blacks or some other advantage. So what. This TV is great including the sound. Still, I did buy a soundbar because I got a great combo price when purchased with the TV ... which does make football and Netflix sound fantastic. Definitely buy this TV.

This Was my First Sony TV purchase ever. I have been completely satisfied with the TV. I placed this next to the Samsung 4K my buddy owns and its got a cleaner image on all 1080p images and 4K content alike. I have been using it for a little gaming and the performance is very good. The black levels are very clear and don't wash out the image like his samsung did. I was disappointed that it didn't come with any 3D glasses. but they only cost around $20 each which isn't too bad. I also was happy with the audio as well, it didn't need a soundbar. yet i got one that was $200 off with the TV.

I purchased the tv about a month ago, the tv is great the wide color gamut and the contrast that it offers are just amazing Not to mention HDR compatible, the upscaling is great you can definitely tell there's a huge difference, the smart featured on the tv are great as well, I can control the tv with my phone and having the freedom of downloading apps or games and store them in the built in 8gb hardrive it's great, I love my new tv and for the price with all the specs that this tv has you really can't bet it, definitely recommend it.

This Sony TV has a fantastic picture and with the latest update it now has HDR. I do have a collection of 3D movies which plays with minimal cross-talk on this set. The only problem I had was pairing the 3D glasses to this set (not included but the Samsung 3D active glasses work), I was able to do this after rebooting the set (holding down the power button on the remote until the set reboots).

Liked the TV a lot, except after less than 6 weeks there's a black line across 60% of the screen width. Earliest Geek Squad service appointment is one week away. I assume I'll get a refurbished unit as a replacement, which is irritating with such a new unit! Previous Sony needed a new optical block one month after warranty expired (but Sony extended optical block warranty due to mass failure). That TV lasted 10 years, so I kind of forgave Sony, but now I'm disappointed again....

Fantastic tv for the money. Grey uniformity isn't the best, but it's ok. The quality picture looks awesome. Bought a 65" on sale and regretted it , waited for the price to drop to $2,999 and went for it! Loving so far. Have it mounted. Waiting for my Boston acoustics to arrive to mounted on the wall. 5.1 surround coming soon.

Don't get me wrong, I like the TV itself, awesome 4K quality, nice picture, great size, but the embedded Google software is annoying!!! In fact, you cannot even setup the TV without agreeing to Google's "terms and conditions". I almost returned the TV because of this, I should NOT have to sign an agreement with Google JUST to use my TV!!! I would recommend finding another model that doesn't have all that Google nonsense on it (unless you're a Google Fanboi, then have at it!).

I just bought a new Sony 75 inch 4k XBR75X850C TV from Bestbuy today. I used Netflix when I first turned on the TV, but now after letting the TV do the Software Update, Netflix has stopped working. It just kicks me out back to whatever I was doing after like 5 seconds after I launch it. I can even login, and pick a profile, but then it boots me. Is anyone else seeing this? I thought maybe I also need to update the apps, but it says they are all up to date.

This is the best tv I have heard owned. I love the picture and the 4k. I first had the 65 inch and then upgraded to the 75 and I do no regret it. Sony does in fact make the best 4k!! I wish I knew what 3d glasses to get..
