I finally made the jump to pick up a 4K TV, and the decision was made to go back to Sony this time around for my TV needs. I read a lot of reviews on this TV, as well as the closest comparable Samsung 4K TV, and while both had some negative issues reported by buyers, the Sony was the best sounding to me in the end. Picture color and clarity are great, and there are a lot of options in the settings to optimize and tweak the output to your liking. The Sony TV especially beat out the competition (in my opinion) in the fast motion picture clarity and smoothness. A family member of mine bought the Samsung TV and when we did a same day comparison with some video games and sports, this Sony TV kept the motion smooth and clear the entire time, while the other TV had some struggles with stuttering/motion flow rates. The only gripe I have with this Sony 4K TV is the auto brightness settings that are built in to it, where the outer edges of the screen have small "clouds" of lighter shades when viewing very dark images/scenes, while also being in a dark room with low ambient light. This is a commonly reported issue people have, but after thorough research it appeared that this was an intended feature to help balance out dark scenes and give a bit of contrast to them from the darkness in your room. There are several settings you can fine tune to reduce this feature to very minimal visibility if you wish, and I have it to the point where it is hardly noticeable anymore...so it is not a major concern to me. Small trade off for the better motion clarity as far as I am concerned. I give this TV a 4 out of 5 stars. It is a pretty good setup overall for the price point on delivering the 4K experience.

This TV is very bright for a colorful very detailed for the size it's great. This processor speed is pretty fast compared to what I had. But the blacks are absolutely terrible. I know it's not an OLED. But they are brighter ( the black level ) in a 4 year old Samsung I had.

Great value 4k is excellent Love Sony's upscaling ability Blacks are a little lacking Colors are vivid Sound is good from TV. Surround sound is much better. Very happy with purchase Works very well in upstairs with windows

This tv is HUGE! The color is great the clarity is perfect and overall it is the best value for a $2000 unit. There are a ton of apps and there are so many features that as of the 4th day that I've owned it, I still haven't gotten to all of them. The only downside which isn't Sony's fault is that HULU doesn't offer live tv with this unit. You can get their other service but no live tv. So, I cancelled my HULU subscription and bought the playstation vue expanded service since the basic is free with this tv. I can tell you that I was hesitant to spend $2k on a tv but I'm happy I did. It's so big it feels like I'm at the theater.

Not having the highest end tv budget, i set my sights on either the 65” x900f or the 75” x850f. I chose the latter. Both being same price i went for the bigger size due to entertaining alot and having a crowd for football games. Very happy with my choice great for football...4k/hdr looks great although the X900F may be better in these areas(dont have one to compare) it does not dissapoint by any means. Only area that i might like better that i believe the 900 has is that the 900 will automatically sense what kind of program is on (sports,movie,animation)and adjust picture settings accordingly(have to manually on 850)

We were looking for a TV for the basement. This TV has great picture quality and perfect for watching movies and sports. With the 4K, you really feel like you’re in the picture.

This is a fantastic tv! Very clear picture, lots of features and overall great tv. Definitely an upgrade from whatever you currently have.

This is the second Sony Bravia TV that I have purchased in the last decade and I am very satisfied with with this one as I was with the previous on. Great picture, great audio, ease of use. Geek Squad installed and set up and did a superb job.

What a great value for such a large tv. The color and clarity on this tv is great, yes, the screen is sensitive to touch, but as long as you follow the handling instructions and instructional videos on how to handle, no issues. Works and looks great for TV (lots of Sports, Blue-Ray and 4K Movies, streaming, and gaming). Was easy to mount to the wall. Would recommend for anyone who is looking to upgrade their everyday use TV.

i knew the reviews about the blacks and the grays but I still care too much about the enhanced colors of my 65 inch Samsung that I got two years ago. Prior to that, I only bought Sony so I started looking at sony again when I decided to upgrade to a 75 inch. I was looking for a higher native refresh rate and more original colors. This Sony fits the bill for my needs and I the price was excellent since my previous TVs were way more expensive compared to this one.

Very user friendly. Great color. The 4K makes everything look much clear.

I replaced a Plasma TV with this new Sony . The picture is great even using just standard Direct TV 1080P settings. But when you stream in 4K, it is so life like, you feel like you are in the same room as the cast members. When I bought looked good in the store, but they always do, and to my surprise it was just as good when I got home. I would clearly recommend this TV to anyone.

75 inch Sony 4K looks amazing. Colors are vibrant and refresh rate is quick.

Great size, great picture, great color when needed I would buy another one.

We decided to upgrade from a 55" Sony 4K TV to the 75" Sony 4K TV for age-related eyesight reasons and it makes a world of difference in viewing shows and reading the menu's while you change the channels. The 75" TV screen colors are quite fantastic and watching shows on Netflix, AT&T U-Verse (HBO, NFL, NBA) are likely sitting in a movie theatre with a cinematic experience both visually and through the internal speakers and can be enjoyed by everyone in the living area and kitchen area of the home. Football games are amazing as the players look life-sized. We have a Marantz SR5000 with in-ceiling surround sound speakers and sub-woofer, and use those when watching movies on Netflix mostly.

This TV has a great picture and vivid color, easy to set up.

This tv has great picture, amazing refresh rate, and is big enough to see it from my kitchen. Getting a few add ons like the full motion wall mound and a sound bar and it’s just an amazing purchase. It could do a better job with the matching sound bar with the sound paring but that’s a seperate product. It’s a great tv. Will easily last 10 years

My first smart TV & OMG I've been living under a rock! The TV looks great & the functionality of all the apps & features is just AWESOME. I was very hesitant to buy it at first but don't regret my purchase at all. Make sure you also pick up a 4k Blu-Ray player to get the best out of your movies. Overall pretty awesome TV and perfect size too.

Great price for the size, lots of features, quality set

It was time to upgrade into the 70” screen range and I’ve only bought Sony for the last 30 years. I was also ready for 4K. This TV hit the mark with all boxes checked and it was on sale. Enough said.
