This is by far the best picture for the money value so far this year. I considered the Z9D but when I saw the difference between the sets, the 940E was nearly the exact same.

Excellent 4K TV. Expensive! But you DO get what you pay for. Excellent visuals. Great for all sports. Be sure to also purchase a top-of-the-line SOUND BAR for sound to go along with the 4K TV. If you're going to spend this much for a TV be sure to also spend for a top flight sound system to compliment it.

great television, 4k picture is awesome, easy to set up

Have had the TV for two months now and zero complaints. Haven't had it tuned yet, but out of the box it is excellent. Easy to setup, and the 4K content that is available looks great. Only real complaint is that the speakers are weak. But that is an issue on every 4K ultra flat screen. I use a soundbar all the time connected to the HDMI-ARC so it doesn't really matter to me that the tv speakers aren't good.

I did a tremendous amount of research on 4K TVs before deciding to purchase the Sony 940E 4K TV. It has an awesome picture in both 1080i and 4K resolution. Many many features that make for a fun TV experience. Easy to use remote. Great Apps. This TV replaced a Samsung 75".

I bought this TV 4 months ago while they were clearing out the last of the stock. There have been reports of motion blur and other issues with sports, I have noticed none. For the price you cannot beat this TV. Throw the samsung, lg, and especially vizio in the garbage this TV is a flagship level TV for the normal guy.

Great Tv I have witness no motion problems watching sports as I read by some expert reviews 4k content is amazing.The only downside I have seen so far is the Tv does have some reflection problems in a bright room great bargain compared to original price

I'm very pleased with this TV, it definitely has the best picture in a TV that I've ever owned. I went to Best Buy fully prepared to but another highly regarded brand, but fell in love with the picture and decided to buy this one. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Excellent TV crystal clear. Rich black color, would highly recommend TV. Best TV ever purchased downside is it's extremely heavy compared to the 850 and 900.

The TV is great . It does everything quoted in literature. The only problem is not enough streaming 4K material on line yet

When this set worked it had amazing picture quality. I was upgraded to this set after I had 3 940d’s fail on me in a row all within a year. Now after less than a year I turn this set on to find solid vertical multi colored lines over a good chunk of the left side of my screen. I now can only hope that Sony will stand behind their product and help me with replacing or repairing the set. I will wait to comment further until I see what Sony will do.

I needed something to make me feel like I wasn't missing the movies with 2 kids under 3. This along with my amazing bose sound system does the job. Wait until I get the tv calibrated!!! Whoa!!!!

This 75inch 940E gives a bright clear picture on both cable and streaming sources. For well under $3k this model is a great value. The speakers are actually decent. 75 inches well worth spending a few $$ more than 65". Also have the XBR 75 940D and the E model more accurate IMHO.
