The picture is insane and its so smart. It almost automaicaly logged into all my streaming services. So easy. TV audio is very good. The remote could be a little smaller and streamlined with the buttons. If you can find this on sale for less than 2k, get it.

Long time Samsung viewer, now has a Sony
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice TV is easy to set up, remote is very simple and the voice feature so far is flawless. So all, and I mean all of my previous TV's have been Samsung for couple decades now. Currently had a 75" Samsung on the wall, and now there is a 75" Sony. There is a couple of things I shook my head at that have nothing to do with how the TV performs, but what was a tad frustrating. 1. Power cord length, it is too short, and the ends are different than a Samsung, I had to get an extension cord to make it through my wall to the outlet, I have to see if I can find a longer cord, this is unacceptable. 2. Since this Sony now hangs on my wall where the Samsung was I will say the mounting screws are 6mm on the Sony, compared too the 8mm ones from Samsung. I did have to purchase some 6mm bolts, only for the larger head on the bolt, Stacking a bunch of washers so I could use my mount, did not make sense. 3. Wall mount location on the Sony is much lower than on a Samsung. From my 75" Samsung to the Sony it was 11.25" difference, I had to move the mount on the wall that far down, so the Sony would occupy the same area the Samsung was. Just these few differences made my afternoon interesting and long. So as for the TV, I am happy so far. The switching out what I thought would be fast was not so. Can the manufactures, please use a standard profile for the power cord? Along with that, can we not use 6mm bolts to hold up 90+ pounds? Again, a little standardization to 8mm would be fantastic. I will revisit this review and see if I am still happy.

Wish I’d upgraded sooner. The contrast ratio, brightness and response time of the Triluminos display just make it hard to watch any other 4K set in my house... Way to go Sony!

Lousy Display of Non-4k Content.

My only complaint, and it's a substantial one, is the display quality of non-4k content. Watching any sports broadcast through U-verse looks blurry and significantly worse than on of the other half dozen TVs I have in the house. I called Sony customer service for help. They explained that non-4K content gets distorted when shown on a 75-inch TV, like when a low-resolution jpeg gets distorted when it is blown up. I thought that a strength of this TV was supposed to be its signal upgrade capability. Not so. Sony told me that there's nothing that can be done about it and they told me to go find 4k broadcast content, which is not an option through my U-verse service. 80% of my TV viewing is sports so it's a real disappointment to have my expensive media room TV vastly underperform 5-10-yr old TVs that I have elsewhere in the house. The other 20% of my viewing of movies and games is terrific but watching blurry playoff basketball isn't cool. If I knew then what I know now I wouldn't have made this purchase. Caveat emptor.

On some screens, sports and fast-action scenes can seem to go by in a blur. Our latest X-Motion Clarity technology keeps everything smooth, bright, and clear. Each "blink" is individually controlled and its duration optimized, while brightness is boosted when needed, so you won't miss a thing. As a suggestion, you can configure various settings related to the TV display such as motionflow and cinemotion settings for picture quality to smooth out any content.
The picture quality may improve if you change it in [Picture] under [Settings].
Press the HOME button, and select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — [Picture] — [Motion], and adjust [v] or [CineMotion].

Easy to set up and picture is wonderful. Glare doesn’t seem to be an issue but I have no direct sunlight hitting the screen. Remote is logical and easy to use. Looked at several entry level models and decided to go with mid tier X900H. Very pleased and have been using it for almost a month.

Really big, needed 3 competent to attach to wall mount. It’s in a pretty nice size space, roughly 18’ x 18’ room, and it’s almost too big. I run High Definition cable through it and there is a wide range of quality being put out by different stations, etc that limit the TV. Overall I would recommend, good tv for the price $1,750 for 75”.

Love the quality of the picture and sound is nice. Soundbar isn't necessary. Speakers sound really good. We upgraded to this size from a Samsung plasma, that was 10 years old, still worked great, but was ready to get with the times and get a smart tv.

Big screen splurge

This has a beautifully clear picture and is very bright. It was a little difficult trying to figure out which aspect ratio we need to use in order to watch Youtube, but we figured it out eventually! Love it so far.
