The only somewhat complaint would be that to use my sonos surround sound with the TV remote I have to disable the Bluetooth function on the remote, but that isn't a huge issue

The UI of android tv is wonderful, it’s super fast navigating between apps and streaming. The PQ is outstanding, the only thing that could use a bit of improvement is the motion blurring. When turned on, it can give a “soap opera” effect and when off it’s noticeable.

Only problem is that the WiFi on the TV keeps dropping out after a few days. talked to Sony and they can't seem to fix it. • The Wi-Fi signal strength is weak
- Place the router close to your TV, then check if the signal strength has improved.
• Your TV is too close to the router
- It is recommended that the TV and router be at least 1 meter (3 feet) apart.
• Other devices are connected to the same network
- If other devices are downloading large-sized files, such as videos, the network speed may slow down. Cancel or wait until this activity completes and try again.
• Restart your TV and reset your router
- To restart your TV, press and hold the POWER button on the remote control for about five seconds until Power off appears on the TV screen.
- To reset the router, check your router manual for instructions.
• Interference from other wireless devices

Great 4k tv

TCL 6 series may beat it at some places but for TV content and real world benchmarks, Sony comes out on top. Issue is the 4k 120Hz support. Sony has added firmware updates but the text is blurry even with the latest update that sharpens it. It is still not "real" 4k 120Hz. Avoid it if you are looking for it.

Wait to buy until Sony fixes the firmware

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would have given this TV a glowing review, but after Sony released the most recent (October 2020) firmware update for this TV, you cannot watch TV for an hour without the TV crashing and rebooting. When you're watching content from any source -- for me it happens when watching any app on my Roku -- the sound will go out abruptly, the TV will buzz and then the TV shuts down and restarts. For a TV this expensive, this is unacceptable. This is a known issue but Sony won't say when or if they're fixing it. The firmware update was intended to make the TV work better with the new PS5 but it appears they rushed it without testing it. That said, if Sony fixes this problem, then I'd recommend buying it. For an LED TV, it has an excellent picture, especially the Dolby Vision, and the Dolby Atmos sound performs well too. But I can't recommend a TV that crashes all the time unexpectedly. Sony, fix this, or you'll lose a longtime loyal fan of your products.

However, 2 major drawbacks: I've noticed some glitchiness with Android TV with freezing, sound not porting through eARC, etc; a restart fixes the issues most times, but still annoying. Second thing is the lack of VRR through a firmware update. Also be aware of the 4k120hz sharpness bug others have noted.

SD looks really bad though due to how big the TV is and HD sometimes leave blocky blacks; still undecided on keeping past 30 days; might return and get the 65" LG OLED as that is what I had previously before accidentally spider webbing it with my elbow when I tripped...Sheesh.

Have a challenge using a center speaker right now. Sony is working to update their sound system. When the center channel is on, the voices get off track. Technology included brings us into the 21st century. The only thing I wish was different is if it gave the choice of which outside device to hotspot from. Hands down the best tv I’ve ever seen , games play perfect and the graphics are razor sharp!!!
