Not HDMI 2.1 ready

This TV has so much potential, but the promised HDMI 2.1 features are either still not present or aren't implemented in an acceptable way. 4k 120hz is a blurry mess. They claim this was fixed in the latest firmware update, but they only made it less worse. Still very blurry, like 1080p resolution blurry in text. Unacceptable. Variable Refresh Rate was promised and still doesn't exist on this TV. With how they're handling 4k 120hz I'm not convinced they'll get VRR working either. Audio cuts out randomly and the TV turns on random HDMI devices while powered off. Outside of these issues the TV is great. Beautiful picture, great contrast, retina burning brightness, and a snappy UI. But for a TV "Ready for PS5" I'm beyond disappointed. I really hope Sony corrects these issues

The colors are brilliant and picked this up for a good price around Black Friday. Definitely does a nice job in a dark room with blacks.There are a couple of things I don’t like. The colors get a bit washed out when you are not sitting directly in front of it and it has lost WiFi connection which may be a glitch with this TV. I did reset the TV which allowed me to reconnect as directed but it did happen again. Not sure I will keep.

The best viewing distance depends on the size and the display resolution of the TV. The recommended distance for comfortable viewing depends on the video or program you are watching, the viewing environment, and the physical conditions of the person watching it. When watching the TV from a suitable distance, we recommend to look away from the TV every now and then or try watching it at a different viewing angle.
To get the most out of your X900H, we recommend updating its firmware to the latest version. The software includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements. For your Wi-Fi issue, please try following the steps below to isolate the problem:
• The Wi-Fi signal strength is weak
- Place the router close to your TV, then check if the signal strength has improved.
• Your TV is too close to the router
- It is recommended that the TV and router be at least 1 meter (3 feet) apart.
• Other devices are connected to the same network
- If other devices are downloading large-sized files, such as videos, the network speed may slow down. Cancel or wait until this activity completes and try again.
• Restart your TV and reset your router
- To restart your TV, press and hold the POWER button on the remote control for about five seconds until Power off appears on the TV screen.
- To reset the router, check your router manual for instructions.
• Interference from other wireless devices
- If multiple wireless devices or electric equipment, such as microwave ovens, are used at home, it may affect the Wi-Fi performance of your TV. Power off these devices when not in use, or keep them away from your TV.
- Electromagnetic interference may also occur depending on the location of the TV. If possible, change its location and check if the performance improves.
• Check the frequency band setting of your router (for dual-band routers)
- Some routers support multiple frequencies (ex: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz), if your router supports this feature, try a different frequency.

Good TV Not stable connection

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought Sony X900H 75inch over all its ok but not satisfied with its connection , all the time have to set when ever on the tv even its on preferred HDMI input still have to enter it to use the other remote function. I got Bose Sound touch 300 and there is always lost communication with ARC and have to restart tv or plug out and in my Bose system. I got another tv pretty old Samsung smart Fseries tv , at once its set for everything never have to touch any settings after that just on and go still works excellent .
