The only thing that can improve is the remote should have back lights for the ease of using when in the dark, and a better hook up cable since they say buy a better one, when the money ur spending on any TV should come with a better cable to ur sound bar.

Don’t get me wrong the picture quality is good but I was expecting more. Also this model is the 2019 model and there is no 2.1 hdmi

The X900H boasts an impressive X1 4K HDR picture processor that preserves lifelike clarity and detail as the creator intended. With Full Array Local Dimming and TRILUMINOS Display, experience deeper black levels, greater contrast, and vibrant color from your favorite movies, TV shows, and games.
There is much confusion about the HDMI versions and concerns about compatibility. For this reason, we do not promote the HDMI versions incorporated on many of our products. Instead, we advertise the features of a product that are associated with a particular HDMI version. For X900H, the TV already added support for the 4K 120Hz signal format via the latest firmware update.
Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) will be supported via a future firmware update. This will be supported on HDMI Input 3 and 4.

Mostly been watching sports and movies on Netflix. One thing that stood out out for me was the user interference and how fast it is. I like the voice button. So so far so good

Sony 75” Bravia

I had to reset it about 3 or 4 times besxuse it wouldn’t let me advance for some reason. Then, I added a sound bar and that made it a little more complicated. But the image is great and the TV is not heavy....but I am satisfied with my TV and that’s why I give it 4 outta 5 stars

Bought this tv because it was one of the few 75" tv's that would fit. after getting the unit installed and everything buttoned up so the wires were invisible it lasted 2 days before it froze up, would no longer connect to the wifi. nothing worked until I pulled the unit out and unplugged the tv. same thing happened twice more before I hard wired it into the router. good for a few weeks then the smart apps started to freeze requiring it to be unplugged again. happens so often I ran the power cord out the side of the unit so i can unplug without pulling the unit apart every week. great picture but wish i had bought the other companies tv.

We're sorry to hear about the apps freezing and Wi-Fi signal drops or loses internet connection issues with your unit. We'd love to help you troubleshoot your problem and turn this into a better experience. Make sure these apps are updated. Some of these issues can be fixed by simply restarting the TV. To do that, simply press and hold the Power button until Restart appears on the TV screen, and then press Enter to restart it.
To resolve the issue, update the software of the TV. A firmware update improves the functionality and features of your unit. It can provide fixes to any performance issues that may occur.

watch out for add-ons

I found it frustrating that the salesman added a service package without asking me. I had to ask to remove it. I found it frustrating that the setup crew did not think to turn off the store display mode option.

Cannot turn off internal speaker :(

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This replaced a smaller LG B6 oled set, and I really, REALLY, missed the WebOS ability to simply turn off the internal speaker. The Android OS headscratchingly provides NO WAY to simply turn off the TV's internal speaker. The Android OS decides on its own if it wants to output audio to the TV speaker or your eARC receiver. From day one, I continually had to change the sound output from TV to my external receiver, with no rhyme or reason as to why the TV would switch to the TV speaker (or back to the external receiver). I have a 5.1.2 Atmos speaker setup and an Onkyo 9 channel AV receiver utilizing the eARC output for Atmos passthrough. To have invested that much in the sound system to constantly find my family watching content with the TV speaker providing the sound....was maddening!!!! I spent over an hour with level 2 Sony customer service, which did not resolve the issue. I knew it was a lost cause when the Sony rep suggested "connecting the TV with an optical cable" or "a handshake issue with a non-Sony receiver". The issue MAY have been for some reason related to my usage of a Harmony remote, but that does not excuse the audio output issue. Everything JUST WORKED PROPERLY with the prior LG B6 oled set. I'm running a cable box in an enclosed cabinet, so eliminating the harmony remote is/was not an option, or killing Atmos audio content with an optical cable. ****Harmony remote users may want to avoid this unit, as every time the remote would change receiver inputs when toggling between activities (or upon boot sequences), it seemed to cause the TV to inexplicably default to the internal speaker.***** I spent several hours trying to program custom timing pauses during Harmony boot sequences, and I could not resolve the issue no matter what I tried. I was unwilling to spend further time on the issue, so the X900H was returned to the store. I was happy with Best Buy's service, the picture quality, value for price, android OS, and everything else, but the audio output issue was a dealbreaker. You should be simply able to turn off the internal speaker and output all audio to an external receiver without all these issues.

Great TV with beta features

The eArc present on this TV should be in beta still. I had issues over and over with my soundbar. After 30 min or so, the sound would start crackling a lot, which according to many websites and even the best buy rep who helped me with the return, it is a normal issue with this TV. I just had to return it as there is no point in buying dolby atmos everything to have atmos turned off so the sound would stop crackling. I wold have been ok, although the sound difference is day and night with dolby atmos enabled.

Great for low quality cable TV signals.

Great unit, needs updates

It requires toggling the feature on then back off. Seems others have the same issue. Hopefully will be fixed with a future update.

Great picture/color, poor feature implementation

Great picture for movies, bright and colorful. Problem is the HDMI 2.1 implementation of 4k 120hz that is not full 4k 120hz. Also recent update has caused a stutter to the image at 24fps content. Quality of the tv build is good. Wish I would have waited to buy something else that had these feature that were promised working correctly.

1. Press (Quick Settings) → Settings → System → Restart → Restart
2. Press HOME → navigate to Settings → About → Restart → Restart
3. Press HOME → navigate to Settings → Device Preferences → About → Restart → Restart
You will need to set the TV HDMI® Signal format to Enhanced format for your source device to recognize the 4K 120Hz capability of the TV. Make sure your device is connected to the HDMI 3 or HDMI 4 input on the TV using the supplied Certified Premium HDMI cable.
1. Select Settings → Watching TV → External inputs → HDMI signal format.
2. Select the input the device is connected to (either HDMI 3 or HDMI 4), and then change the setting to Enhanced format.

PS5 120FPS in 4K - do it!

ARC works great. Didn’t have to upgrade our Onkyo receiver. The apps are easy to navigate. We cringed at the thought of paying 2k ish for a TV. Worth every penny.

A little disappointed

Manual not detailed

We have had one problem so far because the picture size jumped so big any writing does not show. The manual is not very helpful and trying to call or email Sony is next to in possible. I had to get a family friend to help me 2 weeks later.
