Picture quality is great! HDR is awesome for a led. You will notice some very mild blooming in a dark room. Great tv to game with a PS5. No lag 120hz with latest firmware updates. More firmware updates to come soon, as per Sony. Great value as I purchased at $350 off retail and the 24 mo no interest.

The picture clarity is wonderful! I plan to watch movies previously seen again, as it’s truly a whole new experience. I can see background items that were not noticeable before that bring much more meaning to particular places and events. My previous tv was a Sony Bravia also, that was about 15 years old and still working, so I’m expecting an equally long life from this one. The sound from this new Sony Bravia was the big surprise. My old Sony had the annoying issue with the background music obliterating the voice in many instances. I was constantly backing up movies to try to discern the verbal through the din of the background music. I fully expected to need to buy a soundbar with this new tv, but am very pleasantly happy with the sound from the tv, and did not purchase the sound bar. The colors and vividness in the new Sony are outstanding, which is why I continue to buy Sony.

Overall, I’m very pleased with the TV. I wanted to get something for the PS5 and for 4K HDR content. This seemed to be the best tv overall when it comes to connectivity options for games (120hz you need a 2.1 HDMI cable) and picture quality. Out of the box settings seem to be the best for my personal tastes, although it can be too bright in certain lighting conditions but it’s fairly simple to reduce quickly.
Couple of tips:
1. If you see flickering on an Apple TV 4K, try adjusting down from Dolby Vision 60hz to 50hz. That should help
2. I wasn’t getting audio from my receiver that was connected to the PS5 while using Optical Audio. Make sure you have your receiver on the eARC HDMI Port 3 and try changing the Video Transfer Rate on the PS5 to “-1”.

Tv looks great, couldn’t be happier. Colors are bright and blacks are very dark, full array definitely better than edge lit. Some distortion when viewed for aide angles but I was expecting that. Owned LG and Panasonic TVs in the past and Sony way better

I love this TV! I originally had the Samsung QLED Q60 and I hated it. This tv can control the black levels better than the Samsung QLED. And it has the 2020 Model has the HDMI 2.1 installed on it already. This is a "Must Have" with 120 refresh hertz!

We absolutely love this TV. The size is perfect for our room. It feels like we have our own theater at home. The colors are vibrant, especially in the reds, oranges and yellows. We've had the tv for about 2 weeks and still remark about the picture quality. Watching shows or movies we've seen before is like a new experience - we see details we never saw before. This was worth every penny for the enjoyment and satisfaction we have with this tv. We paired it with a Sonos Beam sound bar so we have great sound too. My husband and I set it up ourselves and it was easy to do. We have no complaints at all. In all lighting it delivers a great picture. The voice control is decent. Scrolling channels and searching is fast. All the apps we want were available, except 1. Overall, extremely happy with this TV.

When i got my Xbox Series X and PS5, I wanted a TV that was designed to use them at thier full potential. I was leaning toward my usual Samsung, but the Sales Rep told me to check this out before i decided. Im glad he did!!! I was much more impressed with the Sony than the equivalent Samsung. And also the fact that Sony developed this line with PS5 in mind. All i can say is that playing my games now makes my eyes melt!! And to be able to enjoy content in 120hz?? Thats whats up!! Keep in mind, though it has 4 HDMI outputs, only inputs 3 and 4 support 120hz. 1 and 2 only support 60hz. You also have to enable it by going through the menu to external inputs, then HDMI format and then selecting enhanced format. All in all, i love this beast!!

Switched over from a Samsung LED 55”, no regrets. This TV is fan-freakin-tastic. I use it for sports, random shows, and my Xbox Series X. All three categories are flawless. Don’t listen to the nerds who complain about the 120hz blur. These are the people who have nothing to do that sit 1 inch from the screen and look for problems. I have a keen eye for detail and have researched this TV for 6 months. Really glad I pulled the trigger — what a picture! And the 4K HDR on the Series X is incredible. The only downfall is the onboard apps. You occasionally need to cycle the screen from Custom to Standard back to Custom to get your motion settings to stick. Sometimes, you can tell Cinemotion is on, when it says it’s off. Just cycle and you’ll be fine.

I'm very happy with this TV after I tweaked the picture settings a little bit and now I have a picture quality that is close to OLED quality and this TV does not break the bank price wise. I like the Android operating system its very smooth and responsive I plan on getting a PlayStation 5 in the future so it appears they've done the updates that are required to run 4K at 120. After doing tons of research I came to the conclusion no TVs are perfect they all have strengths and weaknesses this one's off-axis viewing isn't the greatest so that's a consideration but I watch the TV head-ons and wasn't a concern for me. The only other real con for me is the size of the remote it's crazy big but once you get used to it it's not so bad.

I love the Sony X900h. It has very accurate colors and deep black almost on the OLED category. The android TV OS sometimes gets finicky and may require a reboot. One thing to remember is that you have to restore to factory after updating the TV operating system if you experience random reboot issue. Sound of the TV is okay and you may need a soundbar if you want to really have the right sound when watching shows. Some issues that I have is with the HDMI ARC connected to the soundbar, for some reason sometimes there is no sound going to the soundbar with the native applications. I have an Apple TV connected to one of the HDMI ports and I get the sound output. It does resolve by a simple reboot. TV is good if you are watching mostly in the front area up to 15 degree angle, other than that it starts to have some color shift.

Purchased this during the Labor Day week sale and I wanted a big TV to watch sports and play the new Xbox Series X when it comes out in November. This is a Sony that will have HDMI 2.1 with a promised firmware update later on and I hope it will happen when the new gaming consoles are available. The Netflix calibrated feature is a “must” if you watch the Original Netflix content because you don’t have to play with the display settings. The ease of using the TV depends on how well you can work with Android settings and the remote buttons are small but I’m okay with it. The color displays are great; the blacks look dark and the other colors are crisp. This is my first 4K tv and I had to get used to the “opera effect” but I’m love my TV.

The Sony x900h is a wonderful television. at 75 inches and above you will certainly feel the immersion. The X1 4k processor gives each picture a color accuracy that is unparalleled. Right out of the box the picture quality is amazing and requires very little tinkering to look great. The dolby vision implementation of HDR (as well as HDR 10 and HLG) is great, however one should take note that to raise the brightness for HDR content one must raise the gamma , not the brightness, which if you dont know might cause some light frustration. If there is one drawback its that for a hyped as sony is on the built in speakers- they sound terrible. At the very least this set demands a decent soundbar, if not a full 5.1

Great TV with excellent detail and color. Contrast is good, but falls short of OLED counterparts. The colors do start to wash away when viewing off angle, but so long as you are sitting right in the center sweet spot, you would be rewarded with an great picture. Primarily used to watch streaming content and the built-in Google TV operating system is quite functional and you will not need a separate streaming device. Overall, a great TV even if it is a generation old. One let down is the rather anemic sound, but a TV this good a picture should be enjoyed with a separate sound system.

Excellent TV. The color and sharpness of this LED TV is far superior than the Samsung TVs. The only complaint I have is it doesn’t have as many apps than the LG LED but still, Sony promised a firmware update to the 2.1 120 HZ variable refresh rate and they deliver. Still, Sony always provide quality in their electronics and the contrast of the black depth is amazing. I’m a very satisfied customer. Just wish it would have more apps than the LG TV and give you the option to save your favorite NFL team so when the team games on you get a notification. This is something LG has that Sony doesn’t. But that’s just one gripe. This tv doesn’t have wide view angle but I don’t need wide view angle because I’m not having 10 people sit in one area to watch my TV.

First let me say that I was, up until now, almost exclusively a Samsung TV owner. In fact, I had bought a Q70T first that I ended up exchanging for this Sony X900H.
1) Build Quality is excellent. This was the first thing I noticed. The actual materials used to build this TV feel solid and high quality. Metal is used for the legs and the edge of the entire TV. It’s great, and feels a LOT better than similarly priced units from other manufacturers (*cough*Samsung)
2) Image Quality is near flawless. Colors are on point, HDR is expansive and works wonderfully, and the image flow is seamless. There is no choppy images or blur at fast motion. It’s maybe not as great as a OLED, but for $1500-$2000 (75”) it’s almost perfect.
3) Wire routing needs work. One think I liked about my old Samsung was the innovative way that the TV had to let you hide wires. You ran under a plastic panel and out through the leg. Unfortunately this Sony only has a small leg clip to help manage the cabling. It’s something, but I think they could have been more creative.
Overall - if you are shopping for a 75” TV around $2k, then this is what you want to buy. It is straight up better than the Samsung and the LG equivalents in almost all ways. Take it from a guy who bought all the wrong ones first, and had to deal with a lot of in-home exchanges and deliveries until I got here. It was worth it, though - this TV rocks.
