It was driving me crazy until I contacted support. For now I have to use a workaround when my TV sound goes out. I'm finding different ways of addressing the issue as well. I hope they have the fix soon.

Perform a power reset by unplugging the power cord
Turn off the TV.
Unplug the power cord for two minutes, and then plug it back in.
