Also has a Netflix calibration mode - but I prefer my custom settings. Both dark and bright room performance is very good although it performs the best in a dark room setting - which is awesome for watching movies. Got the 75 inch Version on a great Black Friday deal -Well worth the price. Only drawback is the TV keeps switching off abruptly- not a dealbreaker but a bit annoying.

As of the time that I purchased this TV it was $600 cheaper than the x950h. When compared side by side the 950 definitely is brighter and slightly better color balance. However, the savings along with the fact that only the x900 supports HDMI 2.1 AND comes with a tuner that supports ATSC 3.0 made this a no brainer. Even in my bright living room this tv gets plenty bright and the image is amazing when watching HDR content! My only complaint is that I wish the remote was of better quality and that it was backlit.

I have not bought a tv since 2012 and had to do a lot of research. So many choices. Did not want OLED as I have experienced burn-in with a old Mitsubishi set. What sold me on the Sony was 2.1 hdmi and the new ota tuner. We watch a lot of OTA tv so I’m ready for the future. Now that I have this tv I am very happy with the picture quality and I like the Netflix picture mode. Apps are great too. Could not be happier.

Went with Sony over QLED Samsung...great TV!

Opted with the Sony because of the FULL LED BACK LIGHT. Purchased the 65 inch version of this Sony and was very pleased. I opted to go to the 75 inch and the upgrades are much more user friendly. The remote is easier to use for the settings. The menu is much more coordinated for the settings as well. Picture like my previous Sony is great! I have it in STANDARD mode and the screen is very true and life like. We use the CINEMA for our streaming and Blu Ray.

The Vizio has too many current issues. The Sony picture is mind blowing! Everything is crisp and clear! I hooked up a sound bar and everything works flawlessly. All my components were instantly recognized. I'm very happy and have recommended it to all of my friends. Looking forward to being able to use the 2.1 HDMI with next gen games consoles!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Sony X900H (2020) is an excellent LED television which offers features found in much more expensive sets thanks to its full array local dimming and X1 processor, producing deep blacks and nearly perfect color saturation which rivals (and in some cases surpasses) even OLED sets by LG and Samsung. Sony markets the x900h as "made for PS5" because of its native support for 4K 120Hz resolution compatible with Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X and its impressively low input lag and HDMI 2.1 compatibility makes it one of the better choices for Next-Gen consoles available on the market. Even the sound, while no match for a decent sound bar, is clear and pleasing on its own. The Android TV system is fast and responsive, offering an impressive array of downloadable apps and free streaming options. The set also offers future support for 4K ATSC 3.0 signals (currently found only in 8K sets) as well as VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) coming in future firmware upgrades. If you want premium quality for a mid-tier price with impressive gaming support, I cannot recommend this set enough!

Got it home and mounted on the wall. Turned it on and everything is great. Great picture great sound. Next morning turned it on. Flashes on and off in rapid succession. Unplugged it and plugged it back in. Worked great. Next time I turned it off and two hours later turned it back on. Same thing. Have to unplug it and plug it back in. My problem is I had help to put it on the wall. My husband and I both are seniors and he has heart problems. It would be a pain to return so I have to decide is it worth it to keep doing what I'm doing.

Vs 2018 B9 OLED tv

I am comparing this TV to an LG OLEDTV, 65” 2018 B9, for (2) different types of use: For TV viewing it is fantastic and basically an equivalent experience to the B9, but bigger. Netflix at 1080p looks amazing. Disney + in 4k is jaw dropping. Sports with YouTube TV is not too bad - one important item with the lower resolution from Youtube TV is that you should turn off the dimming zones completely and that will eliminate the blockiness from around the players. I am in the process of purchasing an HD antenna as I think that will give a better signal for the broadcast games vs YouTube. I also game with a PC and a 1080ti. After spending hours and hours tweaking to find the right combination of picture quality vs lag time, I’d give this TV a B+ rating vs the OLED tv. I had to turn down or off several of the picture features to reduce lag time while in game mode. Specifically the dimming zones added to lag, turn those off. Has a great picture close to (but not equivalent to) the B9, but the lag is slightly more noticeable. Still a playable experience. Considering OLED is the cream of the crop, this TV holds its own and was a fantastic purchase. Viewing content is on par or better, PC gaming nod goes to the OLED tv with a knockout in the 9th round. High recommend!

I wall mounted it and have not had any issue, super smart TV lets you download all the apps for streaming services you could possibly want. The remote also has voice capabilities. I'm not a TV tech so can't nerd out on it too much, but the colors are vibrant but true if that makes sense (doesn't look like an instagram filter).

Went with this Sony due to the price cut. Super happy with it wish I would of purchased this tv from the beginning. If you’re trying to decide on a 2.1 hdmi ready Tv go with the Sony! Tried to edit my vizio 4 star review to 1 star but could not update it on Best Buy.com.

The gameplay is fluid and movies look amazing on this VA panel that makes it look close to OLED. I love the build quality and the Android TV operating system will give you every app you could possibly want. Its the coolest gaming on a 75" Screen and you get used to it pretty quick.

The Geek Squad installed the TV and explained everything in easy to understand language. The Color is outstanding; no shadows or blurriness. Screen provides great view from all angles of the room. You may think that you are paying a little extra.....but it only costs a little extra to go first class with all attributes of this product. Well worth it.

The black level is amazing it doesn’t look grey or faded. The apps that support hdr and Dolby vision look amazing. The speed on tv is unimaginable open an app and it starts where you left off. I set my Alexa up to it supports apple play no extra equipment needed. Able to watch the tv in the dark, limited lighting, full lighting without having to sacrifice the picture quality. Just hands down the best t.v.

Very happy with this tv

This tv does that very well. An OLED would have darker blacks, but this thing makes blacks dark enough that I don't think the huge price hike for an OLED screen is worth it. The android tv system is very responsive. Almost no lag between remote input and the system responding. It's easy to use too. All in all pretty stoked on the purchase.
