So far the picture is excellent. We have a sound bar hooked to it, since we mounted it to the wall. The remote is easy to use and it controls our fire stick to. I would purchase this item again.

75 inch Sony Bravia 900 Series

Upscaling appears to be automatic as a DVD through HDMI is looks VERY good - far better than it did wit 1080. The Android implementation is adequate. Those who are used to a Fire TV type implementation may find that preferable. HDMI settings are extensive and all provide excellent audio return/response. The remote control is adequate but not backlit. TV sound is remarkably good to live with while one is setting his HT equipment for "ultimate" surround sound. Documentation is only quick start and safety, warranty, and liability junk. Mine is NOT made in China. Pricier than the competition but really worth the extra $$$. Nothing bad to say about this beast. It works well.

It's better than the specs suggest

If you've done your homework you already know the specs of this TV. Just after purchasing this TV we purchased a Hisense H8G to go into another room. The hisense on paper actually exceeds this tv in a few ways, but in real world use this TV crushes the hisense. The OS is lightning fast. The colors are amazingly accurate (the hisense is terrible in this area), the motion is second to none, and the picture gets both really bright and really dark. If this TV has one weakness, it's the poor glare handling in brighter rooms. It's not an OLED, but if you're looking for a good alternative that doesn't break the bank, this set will put a smile on your face. Oh also, I nearly forgot to mention blooming. This TV handles blooming surprisingly well, especially compared to the hisense.

Beautiful picture quality, but a few issues

The sound (for movies, Netflix, etc) is amazing. My house was shaking during the French village battle scene in Saving Private Ryan. My complaint - the universal remote that I purchased separately. After the picture comes up (it takes a good 20 - 30 seconds for the picture on the screen to appear), the sound is defaulted to below 40 decibels. I have to stand there, remote in hand, and increase the volume to 70 - 75. I've also actually had to turn the TV off and on again a few times, as it seems to get "stuck" with no picture. I believe the brand of remote is a Logistics. (I'm at my office as I write this). So, I love the Sony, but you might want to skip the universal remote and use the controls that come with the TV and receiver.

The X900H is the most wonderful television that I've ever purchased. The clarity, color, and size (75") of the screen is wonderful for my streaming and 4k viewing. Although it is the most costly TV purchase I've ever made, the value-to-enjoyment level is worth the cost. The default colors and video settings were great right out of the box, but it only took a few adjustments to make it ideal for my viewing needs. I also had the television shipped to my home and it was delivered earlier (by an hour, and I was notified) than the scheduled time on the delivery date that I selected, which was an added bonus! The TV has great Android TV features built in and is great for all external devices. I would highly recommend this television for anyone looking for an immersive experience!

We wanted to move up from our 55” Sony of this same series that was 2 years old. We purchased another brand, the supposed best selling brand from a big box store - the picture was sub-par and had a shaded area at the top. We immediately returned it and ordered this one from Best Buy. My wife who never really cares about this kind of stuff loves the TV and is amazed at the picture. We have a sound bar but it is unneeded. The tv sounds great and has plenty of volume and depth. The build quality is top notch, very sturdy. Not like the other brand. Our old old Sony lasted 15years so it looks like we’re sticking with Sony for future purchase. This model level doesn’t break the bank but has everything I was looking for in specs.

You do have to make choices in settings

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We are really happy with it's picture quality, etc. We thought something was wrong when we first bought it because it would randomly make a clicking sound (like you'd hear if you shut it off) and sometimes it even shut itself off but would instantly come back on to the same show we'd been watching. I checked online and saw this happening to others. I saw mention of checking your device preferences settings such as Power-idle TV standby and auto shut off. There is also Screensaver- choose when to put device to sleep. When I asked another Sony TV owner about this, she said that her Sony did the same thing with a cable box connected until they went to the setting for "external inputs" and turned off the "Bravia Sync control. (We have ROKU and an Amazon Firestick connected so I turned off the Sync Control and from then on, not once has it "clicked" or shut itself off in the six months since that we've owned it.

Got this on sale for just over $1400 with tax and it is worth every penny. I have had Samsung, Vizio, TCL and a Sony 900F. This is by far the best quality, sound, picture, color, viewing angles and built in software I have experienced. I wish the screen got about 15%-20% brighter for those days when we open all the windows but other than that I have no issues with this TV. If I had had the extra money to spend I would have gotten 2 of these. My only caveat is that Sony has promised to implement VRR in a future patch and as a PS5 owner I am hoping they hold to their promise.

This was an upgrade from a 5 year old 55” LG lcd. The LG served us well but this time I paid for the larger screen and a few more bells and whistles and got something that was a bit more futureproof. The tv sale was great which is why I decided to upgrade. And I’m glad I did. Picture is stunning. The smart tv os is quick and responsive. Even the sound is a huge upgrade. We started with an older sound bar and have since disconnected it because the tv sound was better than the older sound bar. Set up was easy and we were watching shows right away. Pulled up YouTube and watched some 4K content and it was amazing. Got Disney+ and Netflix as well and both are phenomenal on the tv. Definitely worth a purchase!

A lot of settings available to get the picture just right with all of my components (Roku Ultra, Onkyo 7.2 receiver, and Sony 4K UHD Blu Ray Player. I recommend buying. I had trouble with the black adjustment setting. Picture would go bright and dark from scene to scene. I disabled setting altogether and no more bright and dark flickering. There are also seperate settings to set for 4k resolution. Just make sure all settings match throughout all of your components and the picture and sound will be excellent.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.back in 2017 i purchased a Sony 900E 55" but with the PS5 releasing this Holiday I knew It would finally be a good time to upgrade my family room tv and this check all requirements for what Im looking for in a modern TV, Sure its not an Oled But those are still pricey but as far as LED Full Array Local Dimming this is one of the better LED out there and eventually the TV will get a Firmware and support HDMI 2.1 for 4K 120HZ so not many TV offer this for this year but if you are a gamer and with next gen consoles due out this holiday this a must have feature for any gamer ....One last note the android OS has been improved and it a lot more responsive than my 2017 900E so all in all a great TV and im very happy with this purchase.

Love My Sony

Now I was wanting to upgrade to a 65" or 75". I was undecided between a Samsung 9 series 75" and the Sony 75" 900h. Both were marked down and the price difference was around 600 more for Sony. I researched both tvs and also wanted the best for my PS5 too. Which i figured once the Sony. I also read reviews on it and comparisons off the 2 on rtings.com which the Sony edged out. Also I wanted to buy from Best Buy because i love their extended warranty. I love the tv and it looks good on my wall. PS5 games look good and sports excellent.
