Thought I was buying the best in quality and the newest technology. Only lasted two years. I’ve never had issues with Sony products in the past so didn’t buy extended warranty. A line developed down close to the center of the screen. Had geek squad come out as part of my total protection plan I have. Came out and said the screen has to be replaced but there are no screens to replace it with. The Sony warranty is out of date. So sad because I really loved it but it is unwatchable because now there are two lines now. Be careful.

I bought this TV 1.5 years ago and have been paying for it since it is 24months. The screen is gone, and the led light blinks five times, which means it needs repairing. This is a common issue for Sony android TVs. I asked about the service, and they asked me to pay more. I would not recommend Sony android TV at all.

If the issue is still unresolved after performing troubleshooting steps (such as the steps from this link: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/articles/00153674), the TV may require repair: https://us.esupport.sony.com/support/s/service?language=en_US. Brand new BRAVIA TVs come with 1-year manufacturer's warranty. Unfortunately, the service for out-of-warranty units won't be free-of-charge.

It lasted about one year. A nearly $4,000 set. Don’t waste your money. It looks great… until it doesn’t. For me, this meant a bright white vertical line of resolution, dead center of the screen. And NOBODY at Sony willing to give a crap to help. I will never recommend another of their products, nor be purchasing one. Looking forward to the Best Buy crew taking a look in a few weeks or so. And hoping that when they do, there is a fix. To hell with Sony & never again, Tom Morrison

We regret to hear you are having display issues with your TV. We want to make sure that you're taken care of and go through some troubleshooting with you to make sure your TV is great. If you haven't yet, please try following the steps below to isolate the issue.
1. Check if the issue occurs when on the TV's Home screen.
2. Use the Picture/Sound symptoms feature of your TV to check the cause of the issue.
3. If the issue doesn't occur while on the home screen, and after performing the Picture/Sound symptoms, check if the screen has picture issues while on a different input.
4. If you're experiencing the issue while using an external device, verify the physical cable connection between the TV and the device, as well as the device settings. If possible, try to use a different cable.
5. Restart the TV and check if the issue is resolved.
Unplug the TV power cord from the wall outlet, wait two minutes, then plug the power cord back in.

3 weeks after receiving this tv and having Geek Squad install, the tv turns itself off and won't turn back on. I thought I was safe because I paid extra for the Best Buy Totaltech membership but I had to make many attempts of contacting Best Buy before they would come out to replace it. After they finally replaced it with the exact same model, just over 2 months later, I now have a black line that runs vertical through the tv all the time. Now Best Buy Totaltech says they won't help and I had to contact Sony for warranty support. I've been waiting over 4 weeks now and the SECOND tv replacement from Sony still has not arrived. I've made over 40 calls to both Best Buy and Sony and have not received any help. Wasted over $3,300 and lots of time on the phone... extremely frustrated! Don't waste your money on this product or service!
