The TV delivers excellent picture and sound quality. You may adjust the picture to your liking. Sound is great. The brightness is good even for my very bright room (some configuration required). The price is a bit stiff, but I think it delivers value for the features and performance offered. Overall, this is a strong performing product, audio-visually, at a reasonable price.

The Sony a95l TV is truly a marvel in the world of home entertainment. This TV has all the bells and whistles you could ever dream of, making it a top choice for those seeking the ultimate viewing experience. Its brightness is simply unparalleled, making every scene come to life with vibrant colors and stunning clarity. If you're looking for a TV that sets a new standard in picture quality and features, the Sony a95l is the one to beat.

Hi Nayh1990, Great purchase! We're also glad that you are enjoying the picture quality of your new TV. Our flagship OLED TV powered by Cognitive Processor XR brings out our widest color and definitive contrast. For movies, games and more, everything is a deeply immersive experience in 4K QD-OLED. The QD-OLED panel reduces the effects of glare and reflection from daylight and room light so you can see images clearly in even dark scenes. And with Acoustic Surface Audio+, sound comes directly from the right place in the scene. Far more immersive than conventional TVs where sound comes from beneath the screen. Thank you for choosing Sony. Erin

After spending time with the Sony A95L, I genuinely understand why many reviewers call it one of the best TVs ever made. This isn’t just an upgrade from a regular 4K TV — it feels like stepping into a professional movie theater.

Absolutely incredible picture based on resolution, true colors, amazing contrast and HDR brightness. Very good audio from tv speakers, but I listen to audio with a 7.1 speaker setup via a Denon AVR. Cost is its only downside.

Best TV ever! It lives up to all the YouTube reviews and looks as good at home out of the box (w/out professional calibration) as it did on display at Best Buy. It excels at movies, news feeds and TV shows (I'm not a gamer so I can't evaluate that). I prefer the bright (for OLED) Vivid picture setting for everything. Everyday, I can't wait to get home a be a couch potato.

This is the best OLED I have bought so far. The TV speakers sound better than my Soney 500 Sound bar. I have a 65" Soney OLED in the bedroom, and as much as I like it, I find myself wanting to go to the famiily room to watch this TV. It is a smart TV, so I don't need to use my Cable stream box. And I can load many apps on it too. I recomend this TV.

Very overrated, over hyped and ridiculously expensive TV. While the PQ on the Sony A95L is great, it is not that much better than it's nearest competition (Samsung S90/95C and the LG G3). In almost all instances the PQ is about the same and doesn't justify the huge price gap. I had so many issues with the TV that I was left very disappointed. I never went more than 3 days with being forced to reboot/restart the TV for one reason or another. A few days after I purchased the TV, it didn't turn on at all and I had to physically unplug the TV for it to start. A few days later it kept doing a hard crash about 4 or 5 times that day. I wouldn't buy this until the price gets more "reasonable." After that it seemed to correct itself. But then 4 days later the Audio Sync just kept "breaking" and it was more than lip syncing being off, I constantly lost audio and had to reboot the TV just to get the Audio back and I used a Sony Soundbar Set up thinking it would work flawlessly with this TV and it absolutely didn't. I could never enjoy the TV because the ridiculous price to performance, just didn't justify it. There would be times I'm watching it and occasionally I'll see an image that made me go WOW, I'm glad I bought this, but then the issues would occur. I also think all the hype around the built in Audio is WAY overblown. It isn't much "better" than any other TV and I thought it was pretty weak until you turned it up pretty loud (like most TVs).

I’m conflicted. This is the best tv that I’ve ever owned. It has fantastic color reproduction and color depth, is bright although daytime brightness is a bit lacking. Gaming is nice but again I feel like the gaming mode brightness is either auto dimming or throttling. For movies and tv, though, which is my primary use case it looks phenomenal. I generally use Dolby bright for most content that I can match on. The major con for me, however, is that the TV died after 7 months of use, and the parts are unavailable to fix it until after the holiday. I owned an A95K for 4 years without issue and upgraded to this set, so I am disappointed that it couldn’t make it that far. Additionally, I think that the LG G5 probably offers more complete value with better price and with calibration can achieve similar numbers. Overall I’d give 5 stars in 2023 (when it came out, the competition wasn’t as good) but in 2025 I would def go for the G5 especially for the price.

Hi Ayobami,
We are truly sorry to hear that your BRAVIA A95L has required service so soon and that the wait for parts is impacting your holiday viewing. While we take great pride in the QD-OLED’s color depth and cinematic performance, we understand that reliability and support are just as critical as picture quality. We appreciate your feedback regarding the gaming brightness and current market comparisons, and we will share your experience with our quality and service teams to help us improve. Thanks for choosing Sony.

This TV is probably overkill for me because I think it looks great, but any OLED probably would have looked great to me. It does take some fiddling with the brightness settings to make sure its not too bright at night. This isn't really a "set and forget" TV (unless your environment never changes). I've only had a few minor issues with the Google TV software - overall it's very responsive. The sound is also very good, loud enough at like 15/100 if your place isn't that big or noisy. I'm mostly impressed by the Bluetooth integration - it usually connects to my different headsets (Sony and Bose) automatically and if it doesn't it only takes a few button presses to connect. The only QC issue is the TV screen appears a bit warped when viewing the reflection of objects at an extreme angle. This is not noticeable on the TV image, just if you are walking by the TV when it's off or dark. I'm not sure if this is normal but I've accepted it at this point. I think you'll be happy with this TV if you have the money to spend and you don't mind fiddling with the picture and sound options to avoid eye strain from the extreme brightness it's capable of.

The color and picture is second to none. I have a Sony Ultra Short Throw projector on a 110" screen and the picture quality is comparable. $4,000 vs $25,000. I would recommend this product.

I was so excited about buying this TV. I have wanted it for the last year and finally pulled the trigger and purchased it. I expected so much out of it because I’m a Sony guy, and it has one king of TVs for the last two years. Honestly, the G4 I bought for my bedroom is a much more dynamic television. I’m most likely not going to keep this and will probably switch to a G5 when it comes out. I would like to stay with Sony, but because they’re taking forever to announce anything for 2025, I just I’m tired of waiting. Hopefully they out soon so I can stay with Sony and go with a newer model. The picture quality is great, but it just doesn’t match. What else is out there anymore. It’s way too expensive for what you’re getting in my opinion and I love Sony products. I’m really disappointed because I really wanted to love this dream TV.

Hi TCLfan, We’re so sorry to hear it hasn’t lived up to your expectations, especially as a loyal Sony fan. We totally get how exciting it was to finally get your dream TV, and it’s disappointing when it doesn’t quite hit the mark. It sounds like the picture quality is still a highlight for you. We hear you on wanting to stick with Sony and waiting for 2025 announcements, it’s tough when the timing doesn’t align. While we don’t have details on the2025 lineup just yet, your feedback about the value and performance is super valuable, and we’ll pass it along to our team. What’s most important to you in a TV? Maybe we can find something that reignites that Sony love for you. Thank you for sharing your feedback. -Jess

I love this TV! The picture is sharp and the deep blacks look spectacular especially when playing Blu-rays. The size fit perfectly in my movie room and I've been enjoying it with my family ever since. It's a significant financial investment but definitely worth it if you can manage it and love awesomeness. All in all this TV is a blessing from God in a multitude of ways and I'm extremely blessed to be graced with one.

Picture is bright and dark in all the right places. Viewing angle and in a light-filled room have no effect on picture quality. Automatic slight dimming when no viewer present after some period of time.

The best looking QD-OLED panel made. This TV has won the coveted TV Shootout two years in a row. VERY rare to do with the same panel. This was made so ahead of the other competition it was able to win again, even after every manufacturer had a year to update their technology. The latest firmware released in November 2024 fixes multiple issues, added new features like Voice Zoom 3, and fixes an issue with DV making it nearly perfect. TV is nearly flawless, great reflection handling works in bright rooms, solid sound for TV speakers, numerous features. This is the top of the line TV made in 2024.

I have owned this tv for almost 3 months now. I have owned OLED tv's since 2015, and the A95L is by far the best OLED I have owned. It is a QD-OLED tv which is vastly superior to the older WOLED TVs. QD-OLED has greater color volume and gamut. What that means is colors wont get washed out the brighter the image gets like WOLED. The picture quality is impressive and Sony processing is seco nd to none.

Hi Chris, Amazing! Your experience with the Sony A95L really underscores how far OLED technology has come! As a seasoned OLED owner, your perspective on the QD-OLED's superior color performance and brightness is remarkable. It's great to hear that the A95L maintains vibrant colors even at high brightness levels, and Sony's processing truly seems to elevate the viewing experience.
