HDMI CEC is supposed to be a universal way of controlling home theater devices, but Sony somehow interferes with the commands. There are times the TV will refuse to send audio via HDMI-ARC. You can try switching inputs on the TV and soundbar as much as you want but it will not come back until the TV is rebooted. Other times after a few switches it will eventually decide to come back. Either way, this is unacceptable for a TV this expensive.
