Good quality tv. Has an issue with connecting to the wifi a lot. Honestly, this tv is too expensive to have issues like that.

I absolutely love this television. It has an amazingly perfect picture. I do have some mild issues with glare but it’s not a deal breaker by any means.

Good, but not lime my Samsungs clarity and HD

Shopped around and was told by the BB Magnolia crew that this had the better HD viewing for Sports and Movies.. did some comparisons with this years Samsung 80"+ comparable series.. overall, said it was about the same, but was cheaper so I went with it. I've tried every professional setting and still get glitches in movies, and Live Sports lack what my 65" samsung 4k series has. All in all, for the price, I am not upset, but if I had it to do it again, I'd of bought the Samsung.

It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up. Ok, Ferris Bueller quotes aside, this TV is a great piece of gear. Get the sound bar and rear speakers if you have the space. You won’t be disappointed.

I love my new TV. For an 85 inch tv, the screen quality is amazing. I’ve had it for 2 months and I could not be any happier. I’ve always liked Sony products. I also got a great deal on Black Friday buy.

What a Mistake! Do NOT buy!

This TV has the worst picture quality of any TV I’ve ever owned. My 4K LG 75” that I bought 5 years ago has better picture than this 2020 model. The glowing reviews led me to believe this was a great TV. Though I bought the TV 2.5 months ago, I’ve only taken it out of the box and used it for less than 3 weeks. I wish I could return this TV but I’m out of the return window and threw the box away. Just today it randomly turned off on me twice as I was watching. The channels are blurry and not clear. You can clearly see the TV struggling to keep a constant clear image. Motion sucks on this TV. Looks like I’m watching everything in 480p. Never experienced this before with any TV. Tried to follow youtube suggestions on how to tweak the settings to optimize the overall image quality and nothing seems to help. I shouldn’t have to be dealing with this. Sony will you take my TV back?

You should have received a notification on your TV to download the latest firmware (6.0414), just make sure you have an active internet connection. For more information, please visit https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/televisions-projectors-lcd-tvs-android-/xbr-85x900h/downloads. After the latest firmware is installed, while the TV is on press and hold the power button and choose restart when the option pops up.
  
  For the picture issue, the picture quality may also depend on the signal and content. This issue can be fixed by changing the picture settings according to your preferences. Purchased the 85" so I could enjoy the PS5 on it. Was impressed initially but then less than a month into it I start seeing horizontal white lines flash briefly across the screen. Then every now and then the screen will brighten and dim (I have the auto adjust/dimming feature disabled btw). Doesn't matter what input I'm using (PS5, Switch, cable box, Netflix, or even the native TV menus), I see white lines and brightness flashes. I was going to originally go with the Samsung Q series but wanted the HDMI 2.1 support that this model offered... wondering if I made the wrong decision. Not happy at all about the experience especially after the amount of money I spent on this TV.
