Samsung’s colors are more dramatic and the picture seems to be sharper than Sony too me. This Sony is easier on the eyes because the colors seem to be true to life as opted to more enhanced like Samsung. But overall it’s a great tv and price was great and less than Samsung.

This is the one that made me do it. Incredible value for the dollar! A 120 Hz frame rate for under $3K??!!?? Great quality with all the right bells and whistles. Highly recommended.

Menu layout can be a bit confusing. Plenty of inputs. Built-in features have a tendency to stop working and need a reset to return. Wi-fi can be a little laggy. Overall, very happy.

We are also sorry if you are encountering a Wi-Fi issue. This issue will be addressed in an upcoming software update. Please make sure that your TV is connected to the internet and the Automatic Software Update setting is set to On to keep the software updated to the most current version. In the meantime, you need to restart the TV each time the Wi-Fi connection turns off:
• On the remote control, press and hold the Power button until Restart appears on the TV screen, and then press Enter to restart it.

85" 120hz Gaming Dream

Had to manually update Firmware to get 120hz, and Dolby Vision. Only took a few minutes with a computer and flash drive. PS5 Games play perfect at 120hz. Dolby vision looks great. Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i purchased this unit to replace a lg 720p plasma. i have to say if you are watching a dvd the picture is outstanding. if i watch reg. tv which is 90 % of the time, i'm somewhat disappointed with the pic quality. i have almost 1 g of signal going into the set. the picture is not as crisp as i expected, other than a larger picture. i kind of wished i didn't lay out the cash for this and have buyers remorse at this point. i have made many adjustments and the few updates that were rolled out to no satisfaction for a tv of this price. i wish i could return it. i'm also disappointed with the remote, you would think that maybe if could have been designed to light up. speakers are very tinny but i do use my surround, that's a whole other issue. in my opinion it was not worth the money, maybe i have a defective unit. i did so much research on the sony and was going to go with the lg. the reviews were top notch, i have to disagree

It was a nice upgrade but you need right space to mount it. You need at least 3 people to put it up due to it size. The only issue I have seen if the wifi connection does not always stay on which is annoying and this is why I am not giving it 5 stars.
