    The TV color is great, but this is the second Sony TV I have purchased that has issues with internet connectivity being maintained. This should be told to customers to allow them to monitor if the TV turns off internet connectivity and the only way to fix it to unplug the TV.

While we are glad you like the great picture quality of our X900H, we are sorry you are having a network issue. Is this for your TV's Wi-Fi? If so, please refer to the suggested troubleshooting steps below to isolate and fix your network connection problem.

      • The Wi-Fi signal strength is weak
      - Place the router close to your TV, then check if the signal strength has improved.
      • Your TV is too close to the router
      - It is recommended that the TV and router be at least 1 meter (3 feet) apart.
      • Other devices are connected to the same network
      - If other devices are downloading large-sized files, such as videos, the network speed may slow down. Cancel or wait until this activity completes and try again.
      • Restart your TV and reset your router
      - To restart your TV, press and hold the POWER button on the remote control for about five seconds until Power off appears on the TV screen.
      - To reset the router, check your router manual for instructions.
      • Interference from other wireless devices
      - If multiple wireless devices or electric equipment, such as microwave ovens, are used at home, it may affect the Wi-Fi performance of your TV. Power off these devices when not in use, or keep them away from your TV.
      - Electromagnetic interference may also occur depending on the location of the TV. If possible, change its location and check if the performance improves.
      • Check the frequency band setting of your router (for dual-band routers)
      - Some routers support multiple frequencies (ex: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz), if your router supports this feature, try a different frequency.

    Beware! Sony Ends VRR and ALLM Support for X900H

    If you are buying this tv to take advantage of VRR and ALLM on next gen gaming consoles as Sony promised you may want to rethink this purchase. It is official that Sony will not provide these features in a future update as they said. They also updated their specs and removed these as supported features on January 5th

    I am not to excited about this purchase. I plan to reach out to your company or office today as I have had so much trouble with this TV since I purchased it. The TV constantly turns off on its own and looks to hard reset itself once or twice a day. It is very disturbing the sound that is made once it manually shuts down on its own like when a desktop computer crashes or it’s affected by a virus. For me to be able to connect to the WI-FI option the television must be turned off and then turned back on. This is disappointing the amount I paid for this TV and it hasn’t performed up to the caliber I expected. PLEASE HELP!!!

      The TV turns on/off automatically.

      The screen may have been turned off due to [Sleep timer] settings.

      Check the [Duration] setting of [Timer].

      Check if [Idle TV standby] in [Power] is activated.

      The screen may have been turned off due to [Screen saver] settings.

      Disable the [TV auto power on] setting in [BRAVIA Sync settings].



      If the wireless network does not connect or disconnects, try the following.

      Press the HOME button and check that the following setting is enabled.

      [Settings] — [Network & Internet] — [Wi-Fi]

      Check the installation location of the TV and wireless router. Signal condition may be affected by the following:

      • Other wireless devices, microwaves, fluorescent lights, etc., are placed nearby.

      • There are floors or walls between the wireless router and TV.

      Turn the wireless router off and then on again.

      If the network name (SSID) of the wireless router to which you want to connect is not displayed, select [Add new network] to enter a network name (SSID).



      With regard to the TV making a clicking noise when turned off, we are aware of this issue and working on a resolution. When a resolution is determined, it will be posted on the model support page. In the meantime, you can set RS232C control to Via serial port. Select HOME → Settings → Remotes & Accessories → RS232C control → Via serial port.

    Pass on this model... I hate i paid so much money for a tv the shuts off... loses signal and needs reprogramming at least 2xs a month... best buy return policy sucks. They should stand behind their products a lil longer. Customer service sounds like they are in a 3rd world country and the sales line sounds as if its a ceo home from school kids. Either way no satisfied Customer here! I'll go to NFM on my next TV purchases. Thanks for nothing bestbuy

    Tv bad right out of the box.

    Brand new out of the box the tv did not work! I had a professional mount it on the wall and when we plugged it in, it came on like normal. We were entering in data to set up the TV and then all of the sudden it turned itself off. Then the red light at the bottom blinked in a sequence of 4 flashes. We looked that up and it means there is a back light failure. We unplugged it and turned it back on, did that multiple times, and each time the same thing happened. It stays on for a couple of minutes and then turns off and just flashes the red light. Im having Best Buy pick it up 1 week after delivery and bring me a Nanocell LG in place of it. I wont chance it again. There are quite a few bad reviews on here with this tv as well. People saying that the tv turns itself off while they are watching it. Its going to take Best Buy 1 week to pick this thing up and bring me a new one. None of the stores keep the large tvs in stock, so they have to ship one in from who knows where.

    Broke in 6 months. Will not power on. Trying to arrange warranty repair with Sony.... they have no idea how long it will be. I will not even go into the audio drop issues if you try to utilize Dolby. Don’t bother with this $2k paper weight

    I have had this TV over a year now But when it was 1 yr 1 month old I had a problem the picture was frozen saying downloading I couldnt do anything to make it work called best buy they sent a tech out he didnt know how to test the TV to see if it would cycle back and work again so I contacted Sony they helped me run a test on the TV and said it needed repair / to make a long story short for Sony to help and fix the TV because it was only 1 month out of warenty they wanted a reciept best buy could not produce a reciept because i bought the TV online so Sony will not help me repair the TV it is sitting broken 3000.00 TV on the wall and im using a 19 inch tv to watch TV even until this Day 7/23/2022 Shame on Sony IM so Dissapointed in them USED THIS TV 1 YEAR MAYBE 2 TO 3 HRS A DAY THATS IT

    This tv wasn't bright and the blacks weren't dark enough HDR was just ok Cable tv was meh...

Picture quality may also depend on the signal and content. This issue can be fixed by changing the picture settings according to your preferences.
