    Overpriced

The memory cards are overpriced. If you plan on downloading Vita games you'll need to go with something much larger than this...and more expensive. If you plan on sticking with purchasing physical copies this should prove to be adequate.

Def. recommend this memory card. The 4gb is too small. I did want the 16gb though but money wouldn't allow it.

    Expensive but needed memory

8GB is not a lot of memory but is good for a starter card or if you can get it cheaper per MB and carry around more than one card.

Just a memory card for the PS Vita, although you might want a bigger card this was a great deal at the time.

    Ugh

It's hard to review a memory card and not give it simply a bad or good grade. The memory card works. Saves stuff onto it like it should. The problem is that Sony created this proprietary card which is more expensive than any other kind of it's size. The other downfall...it's really tiny. Like, pinky nail tiny. Do not like it. And my recommending it is simply because you need one to save anything on a Vita. No other memory cards work.

    Proprietary garbage from Sony

Sony offered lame excuses around security and performance to explain why they created (another) proprietary memory format for the PS Vita. It's all nonsense. They did it so they could charge people about 3-4x what competitively performing flash memory is worth. You can't download games or movies without it, and the modest price savings you get by downloading games vs. buying retail is more than offset by the ridiculous price of the memory cards, making the cards and the digital distribution model completely pointless. Buy the games retail, skip the memory cards to the extent that you can.

    Memory card - good value

Not much to say really. Holds 8 GB, which could be anywhere from 3-10 (or possibly more) games depending on their size. Don't have music or movies on the Vita. No problems with data loss.

I disagree that Sony forces you to pay for a dedicated memory, you cannot use it with any other device due to the desing is unique and dedicated

    It works, but...

It works; however this memory is only usable in a PsVita, not very versatile that way, which always seems like a rip-off.

I would rather have paid $50 more for a device that offered microSD. The prices for memory are ridiculous.
