Great charger will charge all Sony camcorder batteries. This charger will charge 50, 70, 90 and 100A Sony battery types. This unit will charge two batteries but not at the same time. AC-VQV10 does not come with a long cord but I use the AC cord that came with my Sony FDR-AX53 4k video camera . The camera came with a NP-FV70 battery. I bought the NP-FV100A as my primary battery for my camera. The camera will charge the battery but this charger gives a additional life to your battery . It adds a longer charger time but it adds additional time for your battery . It actually will top off the battery and with some batteries it will bring back life to a dead battery. It has a lcd screen that tells you what condition your battery will last This unit can not charge and power your unit at the same time. It is only one function only. It does come with cord to power up your unit. Sony did come out with a newer unit that will charge two batteries at the same time but Sony increased the price by $50 over AC-VQV10. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY BUYING TWO BATERIES AND A CHARGER FOR UNDER $30! This is a good quality Sony brand charger. By pressing the display button it will go from battery one slot to battery two slot without changing the battery position while charging.
