Even with the stock lens you will get a little background blur. Its just enough in my opinion. I considered the sigma prime lens 1.4 i dont think you need it also buy the Sony oem ac adapter for constant power. I returned the cheap adapters because of problems. Good luck!

After so long, we decided to get it again when it was on sale and no regrets there! This camera gets the job done if you're not too worried about the little things that could be better. Yeah, it's not full frame or has 4K but for everyday use and for the price you can't beat it.

Great camera for my daughter

The sales clerk was very helpful in showing me this camera and then spent 30 minutes giving me a "crash course" on how to use it. My daughter absolutely loved the camera and got some fabulous pictures on our cruise!
