Do the job, but expensive.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If 3D was the whole reason to watch a movie then these would be worth it but when you watch a 3D movie every 2 months these are just too expensive for the quality you get. 2D is the future anyway, 3D will fade away again anyway.

Great glasses
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have a Sony 3D HD TV that requires active type 3D glasses then shop no further. These are great glasses. Takes a little time to understand them and you may need to update your tv, but they work great. Also Best Buy's Geek Squad was extremely helpful when something wasn't working for me with my setup at my home. Great job Best Buy

Improvement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had a Bravo set a few years ago and the rechargeable glasses got uncomfortable after about an hour. These are much Lighter and respond well to the 3D content. Only draw back was having an issue syncing them to the TV and had to go online to see discussion and found out I Just needed to turn off the blue tooth and turn it back on.

Good Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These glasses are great but you have to make sure they work with you specified TV. These glasses are good when it come to watching TV but did not work well with the PS3 Simulview feature that some of their games have. All in all I will say these are good glasses.

Comfortable and easy to verify on-off status
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Found the glasses ready to go right out of the box. Wore them thru an entire 3D movie without stopping for a break and didn't even know I had them on except for the great 3D view. Most impressed with the small leds that made it simple to know when they were turned on and off.

3d Glasses
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They work pretty well. They're slightly pricey and keep in mind when buying them that there aren't a ton of movies that are shot with the 3d quality to make the picture look AMAZING.

GREAT, BUT NOT AWESOME
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First and foremost, they work! I wear glasses and passive 3D glasses that I have to wear in theaters suck. I get headaches from straining, just to see 3D. Now, having a 3D tv (Sony XBR55X850C), I needed glasses, and active 3D lenses were the only way to go. I originally purchased the XPAND Active 3D glasses, but I couldn't get them to pair with the TV. So, I had ordered these Sony 3D glasses, which I should have from the start, but they are hard to come by as they are always sold out, unless you were lucky to order when the short window comes up. These Sony 3D glasses paired without any major issues. I say major because I did have an issue when I originally paired. The directions state that once paired,, you will see a notification as such on the corner of the TV screen. SO I spent about 20 minutes looking for this thinking they were not pairing. After 20 minutes, I decided what the hell, and threw in my brand new Avatar 3D in my PS4. Guess what? The Sony Active 3D glasses were paired after all. All that is needed is to push the on button (located on top of the glasses) for two seconds and let it go. The lights on the glasses begin to blink green, yellow, green, yellow, green, yellow, then short green blinks there on after. There is no notification on screen that it is on. If it doesn't pair, the glasses will shut off automatically after 10 seconds. So I said these glasses were great, but not awesome. Why not awesome? I find theses Sony Active 3D glasses sure make the screen dim. The display on the TV is not bright as it should be. The colors and scene in Avatar was actually washed out some. I kept finding myself lifting my Active 3D glasses from my face to really see the difference. Without the glasses on, colors were amazing on the TV itself. Avatar is a dark scene movie, but the colors should pop out like it does without the 3D glasses on. SO I knocked a star off from this review for that single reason. It would be a perfect five, but since these Sony Active 3D glasses dulls the picture, I can't say this product is awesome. Any suggestions to make the TV brighter? I already have the brightness turned up the max. Maybe adjust picture modes to different scenes, i.e. movie, sports, etc., etc.? Since these are my first pair of active 3D glasses, I do know if this is normal behavior, so I really can't recommend this to anyone without knowing if the loss of brightness is normal or not. For those who wear glasses, then, yes, I do recommend these for the simple fact they are extremely light, and I have had no headaches while watching Avatar.

Only one drawback
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Glasses function which excellence. The only negative here is the price - $50. Since they are not included with the 3d tv, the price should be lower as they are a requirement for watching the 3D tv.

Was expecting better 3D
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a 65 inch Sony 4K tv, I asked Sony which glasses would work with it, they told me these would. Watching YouTube on how to sync them we were never able to get confirmation that they were synced. They were producing a 3D effect but the background was doubled. They also flickered back and forth between left and right lenses giving me a nice headache. I still may try calling Sony to have them help, but chatting with them via FB didn't work.

These work and are less expensive than the others
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 2 pairs of these as an alternative to the Epson glasses that cost twice as much per pair. They work as well but I wish they were rechargeable like the Epson model
