Picked these up for my Sony 3D TV and figured they were "Sony" so they should be good, right? Nope. What creatures on this planet were these designed for? They do NOT fit human heads. They fit better on my dog than they do on any human being. What was Sony thinking when they designed these? For what Alien creature heads were these made for? Will be looking for some other 3D glasses that work with my Sony TV.

Hi rwhokie, The TV should be compatible with the 3D glasses. You should check the manual or product specification of the TV to verify what 3D glasses are compatible with the TV. -Jerome sony_US

I was really hasten to buy theses glasses do to the fact of some of the negative reviews and the fact there so hard to get a hold out cause how fast they sell out. I got lucky one day when bestbuy.com had them in stock so i ordered two pairs and theses things work fine. I seen post where people couldn't get them to pair but as soon as i tried they paired right up on my XBR55X850C. As far as the 3D picture it's not the greatest in day light but if u watch in a dark room like it's meant to be done there amazing i watched both avengers movies and jurassic world and was amazed. i will be ordering two more pairs once i can get my hands on them

Bought a new sony 4k tv ,had to replace the older first gen 3d glasses from my old tv. I am very impressed with how comfortable these glasses are and how well they work , i wear prescription glasses and as per the instructions had to remove the nose piece from the 3d glasses, after that they fit very nicely over my prescription glasses. I had no problems pairing the glasses with the tv . The instructions came in the box with the glasses, just had to read through about 10 different languages to find the parts written in English. My only complaint is that these glasses are hard to find , they are always sold out, even online .

To have a 4K 3D TV and not use what is available is kind of a waste the idea that you get the same reaction the same viewing type but better in your own home is what these glasses accomplish my Sony TV has great picture great 4K 3D and 4K upscaling I would definitely recommend this to all my friends.

Very hard to pair to the TV. Honestly I think the issues are with the TV though. I was actually standing in line to return these and talking to someone else in line. He suggested something that even Sony support didn't suggest: UNPLUG the TV, wait a minute, plug it back in and pair. Worked. As for the glasses they work as advertised both for 3D and screen sharing through the PS3/PS4 games (very cool feature). They don't darken the image too much and there's no flicker to speak of. Cons: Non-rechargeable battery, support wasn't the greatest and cost. Other issues appear to be more TV related: bleed-over, menus not lining up in 3D (double images)

    No Setup Instructions

I just got a new Sony 4K HD TV and Sony active 3D glasses. After 30 minutes of fumbling through screen menus and Google searching I am still not seeing a 3D picture. Would it really be that difficult for Sony to include setup instructions with the glasses!?? Brand new right out of the box, all 3 pairs of glasses were flashing green LED (indicating low battery). I've registered the glasses with the TV, and that's where the "directions" end. Now what?? There's no 3D picture!!

Can not get to sync to my Sony XBR--55X850B. Tired of trying so I'm putting them in the box and getting ready to return them. What is the difference between these and the ones that come with the Tv anyway?
