Sony 3D glasses are light weight glasses that work well but are overpriced.

The glasses worked very well. They synchronized very easily with the TV. They are somewhat light intense some times. Some viewers thought they fatigued their eyes. They are a little pricey. We paid about $50 per unit. They were not in stock and had to be ordered. I would have liked to try them in the store, but none were available.

I'm hoping it's because I can't figure them out but, these don't work unless I'm watching a bluray. I've tried YouTube and Netflix, it says glasses paired successfully but they don't work. I also was not to happy they don't make a children's size, since they are why I purchased the TV. However when I get them to work, they work.

When you buy SONY TV xbr75x940d you have to buy this glasses.
So, with them it was complete satisfaction watching 3D movies.
Old one I couldn't use and it was a kind disappointment.
3D glasses are not cheap product.
Anyway, it is not unusual pattern with a new technology...

Three Times a Charm

There was an issue in syncing the glasses to my TV. The initial lights did blink but wouldn't register. I called Sony support three times. The first person told me that my new TV was actually old and so were my new 3D glasses. He also told me I bought the wrong type of glasses for my TV. I assured him everything was new, the glasses were the right ones and he hung up on me. The second call the person told me to pull out the batteries. I told her the lights were flashing so the batteries wasn't the problem. She sounded angry and told me if I didn't listen to her instructions she couldn't help me. She started to hum and hung up on me. Two days later I called the third time and the tech support person told me to unplug my TV for 60 seconds, which I did, and all the 3D glasses registered. Three times a charm.

If you want 3D this is your option. Do not have anything to compare to but the 3D works. I think the random bad frames are more errors of the movies then the glasses. If you have a hard time connecting them do a soft reset on the tv.... just hold down power on the remote for 5 seconds... if it's a Sony

Good glasses, and work well with my Sony TV. Tried some 3rd party glasses, but they had some visual distortion. These work well. Be warned that the batteries will die quickly if you don't power them down. The glasses tend to unpair from my TV, which may not be an issue withthe glasses per se.

I bought a 3D TV but didn't want to shell out the money to buy these, so I bought "rechargeable" glasses for half the price. Couldn't get them to work so I bought the Sony glasses - and voila!!!
I finally got the other glasses to work, so now I have 4 pair. Oh well...

I tried in the past to get the cheaper glasses for my new 4K set. But those 10 dollar glasses just don't cut it. These glasses which I've only used a couple of times seam to work a lot better and are made stronger than those other ones. So far so good.
