Great player for the money if you don't need true 4K UHD playback. Compact, fits in smaller cabinets. When used with a proper control system or custom remote, it has discrete on and off commands, which is a huge plus. The only real ding is it needs the occasional reboot if it's left to sit for a while between uses.

This Blue Ray player was easy to install, excellent quality and great price. 3D was a must and it delivered.

DVD player works very well. Cat especially likes watching the drawer open & close. WiFi apps work well...a little slow to start and connect, but once on works great. Has featured apps for PS video, Prime, Hulu, Nflx, Tubi, Vudu, Crackle, Movies now & you can set your desired apps on the "your apps" screen. Also allows connection to a bluetooth device to play your music. No problems thus far.

I'm always happy with Sony products and a very reasonable price. I priced around five or six different stores and Best buy was the cheapest so I went with Best buy which is where I buy my TVs and all my DVDs players

This is best blu-ray player for the money. The picture is excellent and it's a nice compact player. The 3D picture is flawless.

This was exactly what I needed for my 4k TV. It is a small size which was also another consideration for me. Highly recommend.

We needed a player with 3D and this one had that, along with being 4K. Can't beat it, especially at the price.

I bought this to replace my old dvd player and it works great! I also use this to convert my RCA signal to HDMI to use it as a smart tv unit for streaming. Works great and the price is good too.

Very easy to install and connect to wifi. Very responsive to controls. Two things I would like different; should have a larger display to indicate it is on (only has a very small light that I cannot see from the couch), and would like to have an indicator display, when on pause, as to how much time has elapsed and how much time is left on the DVD.

I have an older TV that does not have internet built in so have to rely on my DVD player to provide that service. I had to buy a fire stick for Prime TV and finally decided to upgrade my Blu-ray player. This Sony is absolutely wonderful, it has Prime, Netflix and may other available choices. I would highly recommend this player, the quality is the best.
