Small compact DVD. Easy to set up & program the remote for your TV. The available apps make this a very versatile player. Great price point.

Very light and small, easy to use, & has wi-fi. If you don't have a smart tv, just hook this up to it and you will have everything you need.

In my opinion Sony makes the better bluray players that I have tried. I disliked Toshiba and Panasonic because the toshiba didn't look sharp to me and the Panasonis had to much stuff on it( I want a movie player not an organizer) plus the Panasonic died on me and was expensive. I still have a Sony working from 2011. And the streaming of Netflix is very good as well. Never got panasonic to work. Their TVs are great also.....

this DVD player is a good addition with good picture and sound, easy to use, and I like to convenience of Netflix and other features.

This player is super compact and was very easy to setup. We're using it on an old 42" Sharp Aquos and the picture quality is great.

Our family already owns a Sony Blu-ray player, but it is a couple years old. We liked it so much, and love the features to stream Amazon and Netflix, we bought another one for our bedroom.. Install was very easy and it works as promised, but there is no way to control thr TV from the DVD remote. There are buttons for TV power and TV input, but no viable way to program it to control the TV. We searched all over the internet for codes and ways to program, even the Sony website Help section. All we were able to find was confirmation from Sony that they had no product support for the remote. Frustrating!

Good quality. Easy to use. Small compact design so it doesn't take up a lot of room. Very user friendly. I would highly recommend.

The player is nice and compact. It was very easy to install and set up was a piece of cake. Very good mid-priced Blu-Ray player.

If you want a no frills wi-if blue ray player this is it. The streaming aps available are a plus. Plays blue ray discs well.

This Blu-ray player is the perfect size. Set-up to the TV and Wi-Fi were both a snap. It works like a champ and we've had no problems viewing Blu-ray or DVD (to included DVDs were burned ourselves). The apps are great for viewing Netflix, etc. The remote is a bit on the small size, but gets the job done.

I got it with my new Sony tv! Wanted same brand as tv. Makes some noise in start up. Has been working well.

It was easy to set up - plug and play. Connectivity to wifi was also very simple. Great picture and audio.

I needed a BluRay for another room but needed wireless as I have no wired internet connection in this room. I found this unit on sale at a great price. It is a pretty nice unit and I wanted the some stated 300 built in apps. The unit plays well, handles the wifi very well with no lag during use. The only real issue with this unit is that it does not have the normal function of resuming playback where you left off. Sure, if you merely pause it and come back momentarily the unit will resume......but if you stay away long enough for it to power down, then you have to start all over at the beginning or use the scene search function to find your place. This is a real nuisance. I understand you can try to work around this by making bookmarks, etc. but who wants to constantly make bookmarks and then have to go back and delete them, etc. It seems this was just a short sighted move on Sony's part. This would be a major issue if the unit itself didn't perform so well in all other respects. I usually watch movies in one sitting so I can deal with it............it is just that every other unit I have ever owned performed this most basic of functions. Overall, it is a very nice unit.

Before this purchase i could not load Netflix. I did not realize that different Blu Ray players had different wifi receivers. I hooked this up and it's worked great ever since. The picture is great and I noticed a faster loading time for my Blu Ray. disks. At first this player seemed a bit on the expensive side. About twice the amount of many players but I've come away feeling it's worth it. would absolutely recommend this for anyone.
