This is my first Blu-ray player and this is really awesome. It comes with a bunch of apps built in and is Wi-Fi ready, which is really nice. I am glad that I picked this one up on sale.

It up scales your normal DVD's and the 3D is out of this world! Easy to set-up and software stays up-to-date automatically with the Wi-Fi connection. Definitely worth a few extra bucks.

This is the first Blu-Ray player I have bought, and I am loving the quality of the picture. It's small and can easily fit anywhere near the tv. The Netflix option is also fantastic.

This is my second blu-ray player I bought from Sony. The first one I bought in 2011 and it still works. This one has 3D playability, apps, Wi-Fi and HDMI just like my first one. But what drew me to this one was 4K scalability for my new 4K TV, Chromecast capability, and updated video codecs to play my archived computer videos. Being able to play .mkv files was big for me. My only con for this isn't a big one, but the CD spin is noisy, but you won't hear it once the movie is going. Best Blu-ray if you don't wanna shell out the money for real 4K Blu-rays yet.

This blu-ray player is a great buy for the money. It was easy to connect to the internet and picture quality when streaming Netflix is excellent. Haven't tried the 4K upscaling yet.

Very good picture, easy to use, size both good and bad because of how small it is. Sony is known for their blue-ray players. Overall would recommend.

This is a solid little Blu Ray Player with 4K up-conversion. It's loaded with internet streaming including Netflix and Hulu Plus. Easy to hook up and link to my wireless network.

I had an older player that kept giving me problems with play back so I bought this unit since it did have the upscaling 4K feature. I have not been disappointed. I also bought a large screen 4K capable TV and connected this unit to it. It provides a very clear picture and play back has been problem free. It is also nice having the built in Wi-Fi so updates are easy.

Blurays, DVDs look subperbly clearest. Even the Blurays and some occasions DVDs Upschalling is 4K or 1080P picture quality. The VUDU does show 1080P in the the near future 4K UHD.

Upgraded when I purchased my Sony XBR55X850C - tv. Player is pretty simple to use and picture in fantastic via HDMI cable connection.

A real improvement over our last BluRay. Great picture, and easy to use . Can't wait to rent more movies, I really like this item.

Picture quality of old DVDs to a 4K tv is great. The DVD player works how I expected it to. The upscale to a 4K TV looks great.

I had a older sony blu ray player that worked great but wanted a new version to upscale my blu rays to 4k for my new 4k TV. Easy to use and I can tell the upscale difference

Sleek design! Easy set up and operation not to mention great addition to 4K TV! Will most likely get another for a different room.

Got this for a second older tv and it's been great as a blue ray/DVD player and works great for streaming as long as you let it boot up before logging into hulu or netflix

i have always bought sony blu ray players imo they are the best the reason i bought this one is because it upscaled to 4k now that i have a 4k tv but i wish would have read into it more . ends up the tv does upscaling better so i could have just kept my old sony blu ray player . but the interface is and its a quick player runs smooth and is quiet

This unit is simple to use and it works great! We use it with our theatre package and universal remote. Sony makes quality products and we're happy with our purchase.

It has a small foot print, and doesnt take up much space. It is loaded with apps so you can Amazon Prime, NetFlix, Sirirus, and Hulu right out of the box. A good buy.
