We purchased 3 of these when upgrading our TV's. There easy to use, and picture quality is super sharp watching in all locations of the house now. Would buy again for sure.

Although it's not real 4k, I don't need it since I don't have 4k TV. All other features like 3D, wifi, light-weight, high-quality are all what I want for a blu-ray player!

I have read a lot of articles about the "Cheap housing", plastic materials etc.... Let's face it Blu-Ray players are not built to Drop, but to play and Upscale at the highest Quaility possible. For me, paired with a 2016 Sony 65"--850D! Wow. From an older DVD to the New Star Wars on Blu-Ray, Fantastic picture. And matched with an older Bose Lifestyle System, DTS Sound like a Movie Theater!! Don't let the Small size or simple design foul you. This player (until prices Drop and Options are realistic for UHD or 4K players), is the one to get!! FYI if you have a Sony TV, save the remote, you won't need it. TV remote does it all!!!

Plays Blu Ray movies and DVD's. Let's you watch 4K movies, but it's 4K upscaling so it's not pure 4K quality. It is still an awesome picture. I have not tried a 3D movie though

Blu-Ray discs upscaled to 4K on my Sony 65 inch 4K TV are amazingly crisper and richer looking! The sound quality also seems improved. A very pleasant watching experience.

Replaced my old unit that had failed. Hooked into entertainment center gives us a great picture quality, takes very little room had a clean very simple look. Good buy.

Added this last minute to the new TV and soundbar purchase and couldn't be happier. Great functionality. Great picture. Love the fact I can play cd's as well. Easy to set up.

I bought the Sony 4K bluray player to compliment my 4K tv, I bought mine as open box which saved me even more. This makes Netflix look great, upscales my blurays great.

After both Samsung Blu-Ray players that I have quit playing blu-ray discs (yes, they're current on their firmware) and after getting a new 4K TV I decided to replace my Blu-Ray player and decided to avoid Samsung for the time being. I decided I would get this one as it has 4K upscaling. So far it's a decent product. I haven't had any issues playing blu-rays on it. I get some weird behavior playing Pandora radio on it and have had to disconnect the power cable a time or two to clear those issues, but overall this is a good product.

I love this DVD player . It is very easy to use and doesn't take up much space. Picture quality is excellent. Simple and straightforward design, no glitches , perfect !

I bought this to use with my new LG OLED 55 inch TV. Since the TV does 3D I wanted a good disc player that would handle all formats, give me 4K and 3D. This Sony does all that and more. With the OLED, the picture is truly breathtaking, and the 3D looks much better that I have EVER seen in a theater! It also has Netflix, which is redundant for most SMART TVs, but it's nice to know I can connect this to one of my older Sonys and add the Netflix if I need to. Amazing picture, and worth every penny.

Love this DVD player especially for the small format and the quick start up. Took minutes to configure with my wifi and I love the fact these new players talk to smart tvs and turn them on when you put in your movie.

A very good Blu-Ray player. Easy to use and sharp. . That being said, this is not a 4K UHD Blu-Ray player. It upscales the image to 4K. But it does NOT play 4K UHD discs. Be aware of that.

I bough a sunny streaming 4K player for my 4K TV that I bough, it is very easy to set up. I like the smaller size of the DVD player. The picture is more clear than the other one that I had. I recommend it to anyone.

Full featured and very easy to use. WE replaced cable and are using this as a streaming device as well as a BlueRay palyer

Love that apps are built-in and connection was no issue. The salesman said the player would enhance non-4K discs with the new 4K TV and as far as I can tell, it does.

This blu-ray player does everything. I don't even understand it all, but it's user-friendly so I will learn! The only reason I gave it four stars is because it hums quietly while playing a DVD and I think that's kinda weird. It's not bad or distracting, but I feel like it should probably be silent.

We bought this when we got a 4k ultra tv. It does what it say, nice picture. Works well with regular blue ray wish there were more ultra blue rays out there!
