I would buy this product for everyone in my family

I have this paired with a Sony 4K 850c TV and the picture looks really good. I haven't used a ton of the features yet, but for playing Blu-Ray disks, this player does a nice job.

Well designed, quick response when thurned on, able to play some defective DVDs - which were unable to play on my old DVD player, such as "screen or scene would freeze or jitter, would not advance to the next chapter".

The color is great, the bravo sync if perfect and the dual core processer is very fast on boot up of player and is very smooth. I purchased this for the 4k ability however, my whole system is Sony and it matches seamlessly and the tv already had the 4k.

Sony gets a gold star on this one. The style has a sharp visual presence. The controls are super easy. Picture quality is outstanding!!

Anyone doubting that Sony has lost their touch with electronics equipment only need to take this beautifully design and built 3D blu-ray player out for a spin. The updated selection of apps are a big plus. A must own for a 3D blu-ray player.

Great bluray player. Makes watching a movie a delight. I would recommend buying it. I always research alot before buying and this one is a great addition to my tv set. Love it.

The Sony play produces an absolutely marvelous image. Connecting it to my LG 55 inch TV with an Audioquest Carbon cable creates rich, true to color images with great depth and detail.

Went shopping for blue ray players and the guys at Best Buy were very helpful in pointing out the pros and cons of all the modeleds they had. Made my decision easy.

So far this blue-ray player is good. I have used it few times. I'm still learning how to use some of the functions. Need a little more time to get myself familiar with various functions on this blue-ray player.

I had many other disc players before this that would not play the last third of some of my locally produced CDs and DVDs. Much to my surprise and delight, the Sony S72000 played them all!!!!!!

Great picture and easy to use! Functions with remote makes viewing easy. Videos look sharp clear and clean.

I bought this as a replacement for a Samsung 4k BDP because the Samsung does not play SACDs. Very easy to setup and use (HDMI 2.0 cable to receiver then HDMI 2.0 cable to TV). Straight-forward firmware update for dts-x through Wi-Fi. Fast loading of BR discs, excellent image quality. On-screen menus for Wi-Fi could be more customizable to move preferred app icons to the main screen.

We recently bought a 4k TV and thus bought this in order to see up scaling. However, when comparing it to our Pioneer Elite blue ray player there was no difference in picture quality! Plus, it was $250 on top of it!! We returned it.

On my audio/video shelf I needed a full size unit. And one with at least a little info on a front LED panel. Don't have my 4K TV yet, but it plays and looks great on my low def Sony. The menu seems a little dated, but I don't use that feature much. Biggest complaint is for a fairly expensive unit, you would think the remote could have some lit keys! That IS disappointing Sony!
