After considering and reviewing Beats, Bose and other brands, I decided to get this pair of headphones. I found them to be very comfortable to wear, even for extended periods of times. Another benefit was that I could listen to music even with the battery taken out or the noise canceling feature turned off. I also got this on sale which only added to its value. It even comes with and airplane headphone adapter which will be helpful when I go on my summer trip in a few weeks. Highly recommended

I bought these headphones for my son and he loves them. Once in awhile I get to use them and they sound great. The best part is they are budget friendly.

Compared to the ear buds I had been using for listening to something to block out conversations at airports, on flights and at medical offices these headphones are heavenly. They are comfortable to wear, if not very compact. Their size, however, makes it less likely that they be lost. I really like carrying case, and I found the cord to be a convenient length. The headphones are lightweight. I like the fact that the capability to receive cell phone calls is included.

I have several sets of bluetooth heaphones, these are some of the best overall that I have ever purchased for less than $300. Bought a second pair on a whim in anticipation for when someone takes these. The sound quality is great. The battery life is solid and the headphones are a quality. Certainly getting bang for the buck. I do not believe this experience is an outlier

These headphones are superb. I looked at other well known audio brands that were priced higher than the Sony. After several comparisons I chose the Sony product and very happy with my decision.

These headphones provide quality sound, are extremely durable and a great value overall.

Bought these for my daughter and they work pretty good. You really can't tell the difference between these and my Bose speakers. Craftsmanship pretty good too.

Very thoughtfully came with an extra cord. Works even if the battery is dead, just without noise cancellation. Great for when your kids steal them and leave them on all night!

Use these Sony headphones for gaming as well as connecting with friends and family... they make it so I can concentrate without distracting noises when on an important call...

Got them on sale. Watched taken3 on my iphone6+ with these on. Just like I was in the theatre. Excellent excellent excellent.

Sony has always made great sounding headphones and these are right up there with the big boys. I love the noise cancelling option, the music sounds so much cleaner.

These headphones do a great job of cutting down outside noise. I have sensitive hearing and am distracted by ambient noise and talking at work. With a big project due and lots of work to concentrate on I bought these on a lunch break and have been very satisfied. They are great for listening to classical, jazz, and podcasts and I can wear them all day comfortably. Buy some 3A rechargeable batteries with them.

Great sound for the price, good bass. Very comfortable, maybe a little heavy but not bad.

These headphones are comfortable, nicely designed and easy to use and like. True over the ear design with nice padding and controls that are intuitive and simple, if a little like a mechanical engineer designed them for use by people with smaller fingers. The accessories are fine except that the hard wire does not have any phone controls. The phone functions are good, no complaints regarding incoming or outgoing sound quality. Ambient noise is passively muffled but not eliminated. For me it is all about the sound of the music. First off, dont judge these until they have had 20, 30 or more hours of burn-in. After that you will find that the midranges are very good. The sound is natural with a good soundstage and nice delineation. The bass is over emphasized, but not too badly. It is reasonably clear with good attack but not well defined. For instance you won't hear too much of the string slapping on the fret or the action of the fingerwork. The trouble is the high end, Its recessed and even with significant EQ adjustments it just doesn't come alive. Thin and artificial at times you are just not going to get to hear a lot of cymbals, chimes or high hat. Too bad, because they are otherwise a very good effort at overall quality for the money especially when they go on sale.

These Sony MDR10R earphones are very comfortable & the sound quality is good for the price. These are not noise cancellation earphone. So don't expect that kind of sound but its stereo & quite good. The other good feature is they work with my all my devices - windows, Apple & Android. The only thing I wish they had is wireless connectivity.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loves them. Great sound and they really block outside noise very well.
