Bought this TV fior my mother who has poor vision. The LED TV provided a much better picture than her previous TV. It was super easy to set up. Basically took it out of the box and she was flipping the channels in about ten minutes.

Ok, so I went from a 60" Sharp quattron 1080p 240hz LED. To the bravia, long story, and I am so glad I picked this TV. I mostly use it for netflix or playing video games. The color and refresh is awesome. Looks waaaaay better than the sharp. Excellent for gaming and looks great too.

This Television monitor has excellent picture quality. The sound is good on it's own - I have not hooked up external speakers nor a sound bar. The compact design of the stand is fantastic, plus the Television is light weight which makes it easy to sit on a mantle. No drilling into lathe and plaster needed. Compatible remote with the Sony DVD player.

Loving the TV ever since I bought it! Not only does it have amazing HD picture and quality but all the features and options are easy to use. The remote is ergonomically perfect as far as ease of operation for all the features and options the TV has. The only problem I have encountered is not with the TV but the inability to stay up and watch it 24/7...

This TV has just the right amount of bells and whistles without going overboard. It. Was easy to connect to my home wireless and looks great.one thing to keep in mind, though: these new slim LED TVs lack audio quality. It's not just Sony. It's all of the new slim style. I highly recommend purchasing a soundbar - it will make all the difference.

Picture quality is full of awesome but the sound is weak. Definitely would buy a soundbar to go with this TV. I'm glad that I bought a smart TV...it is nice being able to just click a button on the remote to access Netflix. I also enjoy playing Pandora. There are numerous other features that I haven't played with yet.....so I'm still learning.

I bought this Sony Bravia 48" because I moved into a new house and didn't have the space in this particular room for the 55" TV that I had planned to install. This TV has a great picture and was easy to sync with a Bose soundbar and Sony BluRay player. Highly recommend.

Bought this TV for my new place as an open box item. Best buy gave me a great deal for an item that was in perfect working condition. The box, however, was missing the two screws for the stand so they reduced the price even further. The SMART TV features work great. I would love for SONY to pick up more/better apps. The only real complaint I have is that the remote cannot be used as a universal remote for my cable box.

Picture is fantastic. Smart features work well, like streaming and a TV guide for those of us without cable. Some reviewers complained of sound issues but I think the sound is good. And you can use the remote to control a ps4 if you have one. I researched tvs for months before choosing this one, and I really couldn't be happier.

I was looking for a smart TV at a good price. I had settled on a Vizio of the same size with similar capabilities. I saw this Sony in the store and there was no comparison. It was $100 more but well worth it. I had recently bought a similar Samsung TV for work and this is worlds above that one too. Very good purchase. Highly recommended.

I replaced an older DLP TV with this Sony Bravia. The DLP is just too dark a screen and the more I watched it the more discontent I got. The Bravia has a much brighter picture. I read the reviews before purchasing. After using the TV for a few weeks, I find that the reviews that I read pretty much said it all. Good TV. I need to find out how to color balance it. (Mine has too much yellow, so when HGTV talks about a blue wall, it is green in my screen). There are some newer apps that i would like to use, CBS All Access is one, that is not available thru the App mode of the TV, so I need to learn how to do that. The other not excellent thing about this TV is the audio. I probably need to get some external speakers, especially in a room with nothing to absorb sound. No carpet, no upholstered furniture, etc, so the sound bounces around the room. It is a nice TV, which I bought at a nice price. I recommend it, and would probably buy another.

The 48" Sony Bravia 1080p LED Smart TV is a TV for today. It has the capability to display the current high definition signal that is available directly from the cable, thorough a cable box, on a DVD or on Netflix/Amazon. Among similar TV's, the Sony is brighter and has great color and the price is often $50 less than Samsung.

I have been looking to upgrade from my 32inch old box TV New hi DEF flatscreen for a while. Sony's picture stood out from the rest and the Best Buy guy was great at helping me understand the jargon. I have watch both the Super Bowl and movies with great clarity and sharp color on I would recommend it to Friends and family.

When looking to buy a new TV, I was considering a 40 inch Samsung. But for the same price, was able to get this TV at 48 inches instead. Picture quality is great, and the TV was a lot lighter than expected. There are a lot of apps, but I only use a few. My only issue is the sound quality is not great and i'll likely need to invest in a sound bar. But that seems part for the course for most of the tv's.

Let me start by saying I own a Samsung smart tv. I like this Sony,. The picture and sound are very good.. Setting up the internet connect was a breeze. The price is very competitive compared to Samsung's models. I must say that I prefer Samsung's software. It places prominent apps up front and does not overwhelm one with apps. Sony places apps up front, but the default does not contain the web browser and Sony's documentation was useless. I had to find the location of the web browser app in a chat community. The search feature proved worthless, so I had to scroll through pages to find it, at the end. Furthermore, there is no way to delete all the apps that are available. Sure one can create his/her own app page, but it annoys me knowing that there are so many useless apps that I cannot delete.
The remote is okay, but again Samsung has Sony beat. The central function buttons are small and too closely aligned. If your fingers are like the stems of a rose, then you will be okay. I will be looking for a good universal remote to use along with my attached devices.

I have a Sony Bravia SmartTV that I purchased 4 years ago. When my son's gaming TV broke down, I bought the KDL48W600B and moved the older one downstairs. I was amazed by how light it is! It has all the inputs I need. It has wonderful features that let me turn off the screen when I am listening to music from Uverse, or if I want to have it "pre powered" up so that I don't to wait. You can schedule it for specific times, so it's not using energy all day. I love being able to jump into Netflix from the remote (dedicated button!). The ONLY reason I did not give it 5 stars is the interface with my computer is worse than it was in the 4 year old model. The old one would show my PC videos in folders that I could browse through. It was much easier to find even though it's processor was slower. The new one - KDL48W600B - shows ALL of them. I have a LOT of videos as I have TONS of videos of my son. They all show up, which is just a bit ludicrous to sift through. I have to say that there may be a way to simplify that, but I have not found it if there is...At any rate, I love the TV. And the price was amazing!
