The pictorial instructions for this device are NOT very good. After about an hour trying to just that chart I was ready to return the device to the store. I then went to this website ( https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/wic400/v1/en/contents/TP0001513169.html ). That information there got me started in less than 5 minutes. I'm now a happy user of this device.
