Cute little speakers, great sound and you don't need a lot of space to store them. Great price for the speakers.

I originally purchased these bookshelf speakers to use with my home computer, but before taking them upstairs for that purpose I decided, out of curiosity, to do a direct A - B comparison with the Elac Debut 2.0 bookshelf speakers I already own and am using for music listening and for home theater. I'm not going to say that the Elac Debut 2.0 speakers sound terrible by any means, but I can tell you that these Sony bookshelf speakers produce a better overall sound to my ears. I can hardly believe these little speakers can produce such an impressive and immersive sound stage. The other thing I find amazing is the tweeter because it manages to be so clear and so beautiful even at higher volume levels. I simply can't believe the quality of sound these produce. Best speaker purchase I've made so far!

These get plenty loud and are a well designed speaker and the crossover is perfect. A lot of people call these the unicorn of bookshelf speakers.

I was deciding on surround speakers for my system and i found these on sale and decided to give them a shot. So far I’m getting a nice clean sound for the task of surround i have them on but i can definitely see them doing a fine job as fronts with a good sub.

We got these speakers for my father's home theater rear surround. We also got the Rocketfish wireless speaker transmitter and both are working great. He is using a Denon AVR-X3100 receiver that he purchased after hearing mine. However I am running all Cerwin Vega speakers and it sounds quite a bit better, but for the price, the Sony's are good.

Great sounding speakers. Very inexpensive hi-res speakers for my desktop as I listen to Tidal. I suggest adding sub to the mix to really bring out the lows. Fortunately Sony makes an in expensive subwoofer to complement these bookshelf speaker.

I bought these speakers on sale during the Christmas Holiday. I needed to replace my 30year old PolkM5 jr.'s. I wasn't sure what to expect from these speakers. I'd read some of the other costumer reviews of them and decided to give them a try. I was very surprised! Are they high end JBL's, high end Polk's, or Definitive's? No. But the sound that comes out of them is the sound you get from much more expensive speakers. The sound field and staging extends out past the the speakers. The sound stage also has depth to it. So if you want high quality speakers and are on a budget give these a listen!

Decent sound quality and size of speakers was perfect for the setting I am watching TV.

After seeing all the reviews of this speaker I decided to buy a pair when they went on sale. I can't believe how good they are! Open transparent sound stage with excellent detail for such a small price! Incredible value for the money. Considering buying another pair for my second system.

I needed a set of speakers for the garage, I believe these were 50% when I purchased them. The sound on these is pretty phenomenal, highs and mids are crisp, bass isn’t bad (might be the receiver I’m hooked up to). All in all, you can never go wrong with Sony.

Got this one sale for cheap. Paired with an Aiyama A07 amplifier, these speakers work great as desktop speakers - they could be smaller, but they reproduce sounds very clearly, and certainly sounds better than my car stereo. Compared to something like headphones, these speakers will be lacking in bass, but if you want more bass, I suggest getting a subwoofer as well. Soundstage is great, and clarity on details is also great up to 6-7/10 volumes. Mids are mostly accurate, and bass is somewhat lacking as I said before.

I bought these to pair with my Sony 2.0 channel stereo phono receiver and my new AT120 turntable. I'm impressed with the depth and stage of sound from speakers in this price range. Nice bass, I'm happy with these for my home office without have a subwoofer.

I bought a set to pair with a vintage turntable. Since I don't listen to my LP's much I was primarily interested in affordability rather than quality. These are VERY LOUD! Even when powered with a mini FOSI amplifier, they are very efficient, and so do not require much power to fill a room with music. I am using a tube pre-amp, which makes my modest system sound like a vintage power receiver system. With rock, this is perfect. One more thing - my hearing is impaired, so I really here the low end of the sonic spectrum. But to me they are more than pleasing. Hope this helps a potential buyer. In my opinion, for a modest amount of money, you can get something to use while you save up for a better pair, like Polk or Klipsch.

great speaker! small but powerful, clear and detailed sound quality

Great sounding speakers. I pared them with my Sony STR-DH190. Sounds great. I stream Apple music via Bluetooth from an old iPhone. It works great. Now with the new Dolby Atmos on Apple Music, the bass is more noticeable now.

Great bargain for affordable bookshelf speakers that sound great. These are heavily reviewed and highly rated speakers for good reason. They are solidly built and offer incredible value at this price point

Great sounding speakers coupled with my Sony 2 channel receiver. The vinyl sounds good and has a nice presence. Bass is in a good range if your chillin but if you want to crank it up a little more you will need a sub.
