I have a Canon Rebel T3i and use it for birthday parties and family events but found it to big and cumbersome for vacations and other trips where I need both hands free. This camera fills that need. It is small enough to put in my front or coat pocket and takes great pics and is very easy to use.

A very compact and good quality camera. Takes great pictures and is a great product for my parents. I haven't thoroughly tested the camera but only taken a few pictures that came out great. For the price, this is definitely worth a buy.

Unfortunately, this camera feels uncomfortably small in my hands. For an inexpensive camera it has a good menu selection for various photographic compositions. Portrait, Landscape, Night Portrait, Night Scene, High Sensitivity (for low-light and no flash), Gourmer--for food pix, Pet, Beach--for waterside scenes, and Snow--for very bright scenes. It also offers a steady shot mode. This camera is even equipped with facial recognition. All these features 10 years ago would have cost a bundle, now they're packed into this (too) tiny package. This camera proves that these days you don't need to pay a lot to get good features in a basic camera. It's small enough to drop in your pocket for a quick go-anywhere camera. Decent resolution, nice settings, and reasonable shutter lag make this a handy grab-and-go camera that isn't going to hog your pocket or break the bank. Now, if I just had smaller hands...

A wonderful, light weight camera, easy to operate and It is very user friendly. It's a great purchase and an amazing little camera. You get beautiful images every time.

This camera is convenient to slip into a pocket, backpack or purse. It lasts all day and plugs in at night. No batteries to change. Picture quality is very good.

This camera has all the convenience of the larger size camera. It is easy to take great pictures for a beginning camera buff and stores easily in your pocket. Makes great shots far away or close up.

I bought this camera as a Christmas present for my 8 yr. old grandson. I noticed he kept asking his mother for her camera to take his own pictures and videos. He loves his camera and has learned quickly how to operate it. He especially loves doing his own videos. He told me it is his favorite Christmas present.

It serves it's purpose. Easy to use. I use it mostly for work. We take pictures often. The photos are nice and clear.

It gets the job done. Pictures come out really clear. You just have to double check the settings. There were times when it would be on the auto focus setting but the picture would come out blurry.

I bought this for my 10 year old for Christmas and it does great for what she will use it for. Pictures are clear enough and it’s easy to operate. Great starter camera.

Bought this camera for my mother for mother's day. She is not very tech savvy, but is in love with this product. She has found it extremely easy to use with little guidance from me. Photo quality is great, as is ease of use.

Bought this camera for my 70 year old mother who is technically challenged for a trip she was taking to europe. She had no problems taking great pictures with it. The battery life is good and it a nice compact size

I have owned a few compact cameras but this one is the best. This one takes great pictures and is very easy to use.

I bought it because I was going to Europe and needed a small camera that fit easily in my pocket, and used a SD card... it fit the bill and more. Very nice digital photo quality, and takes pretty good video too, BUT the microphone is VERY sensitive and picks up every breeze. I used it a LOT on vacation and still do. It has it's limitations due to size and price, but very good all around camera for general photos.

I bought this camera for my daughter and she loves it! It's easy to just point and click, but also has enough features to start learning about some photography concepts.

Not having a great camera on my phone I picked this up for pics for family outings. The picture quality is great and easy to use.

The DSC W800 is extremely easy to set up. It take great pictures and movies. The Audio on the movies is above average. Only disadvantage is the small buttons.

Used this camera on my most recent cruise and when I vacationed in Central America. Took really good photos for the size and price. It's not like my dSLR but it's significantly more portable.
