Good camera for a beginner. I used it to take pictures of my children.

This camera does an amazing job. I wanted a camera which is compact and can take really good pictures. I don't have much knowledge about camera's but I can say that if you are tired of carrying a huge DSLR everywhere this is an awesome substitute for it.

This camera has all the bells and whistles I was looking for in a bigger camera without the size and weight of aDSLR camera. I was skeptical at first since I had never used sony camera before but it's one of my favorites! Glad I spent the money and got this camera.

I bought this camera for my mother-in-law after getting recommendations from several co-workers. She wanted to upgrade on her old camera, which was too slow to capture the grandchildren running all over the place. Great features and good shutter speed. Mother-in-law is definitely happy with it.

SONY RX100. Excellent camera, well worth the price!

Overall used the camera for 2 weeks. Loved the camera though it cannot replace my DSLR, but considering the weight this is a great second camera and has become my first choice for everyday pickup.

This camera is the perfect camera for when you don't want to carry your DSLR camera. Lots of settings and control. The lack of touchscreen is hard to get used to coming from a Samsung smart camera. But after a few weeks with it I am taking professional quality pictures.

I bought a DSC 80 to replace the dSC 20.....Although I love this camera, I was having trouble getting shots in low light with the telephone. The RX100 allows me to get those pictures.

I have read hundreds of reviews on this camera before purchasing. I can literally find nothing wrong with the Sony RX100! Picture quality is amazing. Auto focus is instant with absolutely no shutter delay. Battery life if very good. Some say the camera is to small others say it's to large. I think it's perfect. I am a semi-pro photographer so I know cameras pretty well. This camera will do everything I would expect from a camera of this price range. Some say it's expensive. You get what you pay for. If you want a quality camera that will literally shoot in the dark and get the image others will miss, This is the camera for you! The images blow me away even at high iso. Video is crystal clear and image stabilization is great. I love the way the camera charges by simply plugging in. Keeps things very simple and works with any car or home usb charger. Seriously, there is nothing not to like. I used to carry a bag of gear everywhere I went. Now I carry my Sony in my pocket all the time. My last point and shoot was a Canon G11 with a 2.8 lens. This will knock its socks off especially in low light. I tried like crazy to like the G11 but always felt it was a compromise. Not with this. I'm now getting exactly what I want. I always thought you needed a DSLR to capture great photos. This proved me wrong. Don't get me wrong, I would never give up my DSLR and that will do many things this camera will not. But like they say, the best camera is the one that's with you!

I purchased this camera to take with me when I travel. I didn't want to have to carry a large dslr with different lenses. This did the job for me. It doesn't have the greatest zoom but you can airways crop in on the pictures.

Sony RX series are awesome pocket cameras. Awesome photos. Just don’t use outdoors in high humidity areas( thanks New Orleans) screen will crash from moisture

This Sony RX100 camera is in between the DLSR and a happy snap camera. If you want to use what the pros use outside of the professional kit, this is the one!

Its a great camera . You can shoot raw and have a multiple exposure reading . Quality is great for a point and shoot.
