Although its no longer the sharpest tool in the toolbox, it is an excellent image producer in its size.

To call the RX100 family a point and shoot is to belittle the sophistication of the camera as well as the images that come from it. This would be the 4th p&s that I've owned and by far the toughest to learn. Yes, I could just let it go on intelligent auto everything but I want my 500 dollars worth! A lot of what I consider essential features are buried too deep. This requires modifying the camera's settings essential. Specifically, low light is buried in the already difficult to change scene mode. Need to bring that closer to the top and not require so much digging around. All in all it's worth it. Though the camera is barely a pocket camera, the imagery makes it totally worth the effort and slight inconvenience.

I would highly recommend this camera. Small and compact with excellent capabilities.

It is the best compact camera ever. Great image sensor, excellent picture quality with and without flash. Vert easy to use, especially dial ring in the front gives a slr feel of shot.

when you want buy a big dslr camera i feel this is best camera for the one who is looking more sensor size with clear pictures.

I owned a similar Sony but had difficulties with lens not opening all the way. This camera takes a better picture in low light & seems more responsive. Still don't love the charging situation. Camera is a great size for traveling & handy to take picture when needed.

Great easy-to-use camera. I bought it for the wife as a gift and she loves it. I love how quickly the camera takes action shots. It so portable as well. Wish it was cheaper than $500.00, but it pays its worth in weight.

We reviewed the Bestbuy website ahead of our visit to the store. The staff were helpful and we are very happy with this purchase. We compared this to the nikon and cannon, but the image quality and features on this were superior. Would recommend to anyone!

I've been very happy with the results I get from this camera. Picture quality is really good. I've entered photo contests with photos from the camera. The programmable function dial is awesome. My only wishes would be for a little more zoom, and for a tiltable LCD display.

Was recommended by a photographer that works at Best Buy. My husband asked him what camera he would recommend and he recommended this one hands down. Was quite a bit more than we planned on spending but he guaranteed me that I would love it. Took his word for it and have not been disappointed. In fact this camera has taken the best pictures ever, in any conditions. They look very professional. It is such a wonderful camera, I can't say enough about it. Worth every penny. Would like a longer zoom but I can work around it.

This camera takes AWESOME pictures. I just like to point & shoot & with the image stabilization the pictures are great!! I also like the "burst" feature that takes rapid pictures. When I crop the pictures, the quality is wonderful. By far the best camera I've owned & it has so many great features.

This camera is easy to use, fairly light, and captures great pictures of our constantly moving kids! Would definitely recommend this for someone looking for a high quality point and shoot camera.

There are lots of reviews of this camera online and I I won't attempt to one-up the pros. Suffice it to say that this camera is outstanding. It's pricey, but if you want high quality images and video but still want to carry the camera in your pocket, this is a great option.

Own Canon DSLR and S100. Was looking for travel camera with better low light capabilities than S100. The DSLR is excellent, but gets heavy and sometimes draws un-necessary attention. This camera got great reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. Camera does not disappoint with image quality and controls. Strongly recommend purchasing an external battery charger and second battery so you can continue shooting when the first battery runs out. Menu system has many of the same functions and settings as my Canon products, but in a different location and order. If coming from another camera system, expect to have learning curve switching and leave yourself time to learn the system.
