Needed a recorder just to record notes after classes. Needed some thing small and affordable. Found it with this recorder. Was easy to use and I wanted a recorder that didn't need to be recharged by plugging it in. Wanted one that used a battery. Very happy with my purchase.

Small, lightweight easy to use. Filing capabilities is awesome You can quickly scroll through previous recordings Sound quality is good. I am able to record telephone conversation with ease

I purchased the item to record a judgment and needed it to download to my computer. conversation was clear and I was able to download without issues.

Best price and sound quality is excellent. Storage space is the best and I can go back by date to review faster.

This is a reasonably priced recording device. Lightweight and easy to carry for taping conversations. Great for meetings. Would have been nice if packaging explained how to download this data. Recording devices are certainly very different than they used to be. No more tapes.

This was a gift for my Father who is 91-it's simplicity in use was key in my purchase ! The one touch decent size buttons make it relatively easy for him to figure out exactly what he needed to input or record info to remind him where he put things. Sony still makes a quality product.

This is perfect for my nursing classes. Records every lecture perfectly and is a perfect tool. It also was not as expensive as the other recorders and works just as well! I wouldn't trade this recorder for any other! Great for class or for anything you need to record.

I was able to record from speaker from my computer on to recorder. other voices in a meeting as well

Overall good product It's kind of difficult to turn on and off. Mic is excellent.

This product is definitely a basic one. It's a good recorder for a beginner, for someone who does not need it for ore advanced reasons. I do wish that I had known that before buying, as I frequently wish that I could rewind or delete parts of messages.

The recorder is easy to use but picks up background noises which necessitates having the recorder near your face in a noisy area. Otherwise it works great.

Purchased to record tour guides on trip to Italy. It worked great even picking up voice through receiver earbud when tour guide was too far away to pick up oterwise.

The voice recorder was recommended to me by a nephew. It was easy to use and undo mistakes.

This was a good recorder, but, for whatever reason I could not use it with my Mac. I had to return it.

Great recorder, used it for a business conference, and everything came out great! Only flaw is the battery life!

As I said before, the sound quality is great but I paid $39.00 and the ease of use is HORRENDOUS! It's a shame too, bcoz I like the sound, the mic pickup, great! but, I'd return it if I could for lack of ease of use and for God sakes! You didn't even give me a charger with it!!!! I mean seriously! $39.00 and no charger!!! Well, I'm sorry but I won't be buying anymore Sony products for awhile. And I really liked Sony! But, fool me once shame on you! Fool me twice shame on me!
