Excellent camera for beginner or intermediate

She loved and is constantly learning new things about the camera. I would recommend this camera for any photographers out there. It came with an extended lens which is a plus.

Nice camera, great price

Goal was to get a good camera at a reasonable price that still provided manual settings. This camera did it all, at a great price. The only downside is that the "manual" settings are very limited. Essentially, you can set a few apertures, and a few speeds. OK, but not what I expected. Overall, though, a great first camera for her.

Almost perfect for an old guy.

I've mostly used the zoom feature at its maximum, either at 35 x , or 70x for bird pictures. I have it set for continuous shooting, which works well for the bird shots. The most obvious feature missing, is a viewfinder.
