If you play with the features, you will easily learn what the camera can do. The infamous Sony battery life is not that bad, and a second set of AA's on hand solves a lot of problems in that regard. I'm happy.

Easy to use only complaint is difficulty finding advanced instructions

Bought this after Sony point-and-shoot died after 11 years and hoped for the best. A good purchase. Easy to go point-and-shoot right out of the box; more sophisticated operations take a little longer to learn.

The camera is great and takes amazing pictures. It has a big lense which I absolutely love. On top of that it has a great zoom. You can see everything so clearly even when far away. Overral it was a great purchase.

So far my Sony DSC-H300 has been a great backup camera for me since my Canon needed to get repaired I was desperate to get a nice camera for photos to be taken through the holidays.

The zoom on this camera is much more than I expected. It takes fantastic pictures I got this as a beginner camera to start photography and I am a very well impressed with it.

This was going to be my 3rd sony camera as i had always enjoyed sony. But this time it turned out to be bit disappointing. Photo's were over saturated and didn't look natural. night shots were worse than expected with lot of noise. Had to return it after few days of trial.

Awesome camera, I've always been pleased with Sony products. The camera preforms better than I ever thought possible. Takes great pictures even at night without the flash it takes really good photos, much better than my old camera. The zoom goes beyond my expectations. The sales person who helped me at Best Buy was great very helpful and friendly.

Main complaint is that it uses 4 double AA batteries and it only lasts a handful of hours before it needs a new set. It seems lik the camera won't work if the batteries are not near a fully charged condition so ended up having to ensure I had many spare batteries. It took good pictures though.
