Haven't used camera. 1st, I had to order a 238 page instruction manual to use camera. Now I am learning about all the features of this new camera.

I love this camera, it takes awesome pictures and the zoom is fabulous, I would recommend the camera to everyone!

This camera is very easy for anyone to use. Like the extendable lens as you are able to capture things in the distance that would be impossible to see clearly without it..

It is a decent camera.But the battery charger cord is a little to short.Also it should have a tilt monitor which would make this camera great.

It seams like a good camera but coming from a DSLR, the burst mode is very, very disappointing. It is very slow for burst.

I have purchased many Sony cameras for work over the last few years. Mostly hx-200, hx-300, and hx-400 these have worked really well for me but I wanted to see what really a couple hundred dollars less would be in sony's mind. My conclusion: an almost unusable video function that cannot stay focused or balance even perfect lighting conditions. These would only be good for cheap point and shoots maybe. I returned all three h-400 after only working with them for one day. Best Buy did its part outstandingly but Sony why?

Bought one for my daughter for Christmas then bought another after for myself.

comparing to the cameras i used before,it is easier to to use,navigate settings in low light .works great in any mode.very good in zoom performance when you use a tripod.

I bought this camera specifically because of the 63x zoom and because I also have the DSC-H300 and DSC-HX300 models in the Cyber-Shot series of point and shoot cameras. I only use this camera when the extreme zoom is necessary over the 50x zoom of the HX300. But I do agree that the focus doesn't always work quickly enough for my tastes. If SONY would combine everything on the HX300 with the H400's 63x zoom, it would be appreciated because I would only need to use one camera instead of both of these models. For now, I use both cameras and like them very much.

After years of use, i still consider the quality excellent.
