Works great. Awesome quality but if you move a little pictures can come out a little blurry.

Sony makes high-quality, great cameras with plenty of features to suit the level of sophistication you want to engage in. This camera, while not priced like a DSLR, takes similar-quality pictures. The 50X optical zoom is amazing, and the auto setting generally works well in nearly all cases. I wanted to understand how to use the shutter-priority setting to shoot action pictures, but can't find any documentation. I can't speak to the video feature as I haven't tried it yet, but it's got to be better than having two separate devices (DSLR and video camera). Overall, a great value for the typical photographer.

Picked this up due to the zoom. Tried it out and I was impressed. Will be using on out trip to Glacier National Park. I wish I had it on my other National Park trips.

I like the view finder, tilt screen & manual focus. I am still learning how to do the manual settings, but that is not a problem of the camera but of my inexperience. I am quickly learning those, with the help of a book, so I would say you don't need a lot of experience to use it. I do not like the length of time it takes to process a picture on some settings. I also like the clarity I get when I zoom to max zoom. I have some very nice pictures taken as a passenger in a car going 75mph!

It is impossible to take a bad picture with this camera! It actually tells you if you need a different setting to maximize the shot. I've never seen a zoom this efficient and clear. I really can't think of anything that could be improved upon. I thought long and hard before making the investment in this camera, and so far, I have not regretted it.

Very pleased with this camera. It's compact enough to carry easily but has great zoom and quality pictures at a reasonable price. Battery life is excellent too.

I was planning to buy a Nikon or Canon, with changeable lens. I used to have a 35mm Canon and had some problems with dust inside the camera body. Taking into consideration the variety of the lens, from a wide angle to a 100 zoom, without any need to change (and carry) different lenses, I decided for this camera. Great pics with great features. Must go to a BB and check them. You will be amazed!
