Love the optical zoom and that it handles just like our point n shoot Sony so the controls are almost the same so no complications handling the controls on this new camera!

not what I expected

I took it on vacation with 3 grandchildren and if I got 5 good action shots I got a lot. If they were sitting or standing still it took fine pictures but that is not what I needed or explained to the salesman I needed. I was very lucky that Best Buy took it back and I bought a different camera that will take more action shots. Would not recommend this camera at all if a person wants anything other than still shots. If they do they can get a much cheaper model.

Excellent All-Purpose Camera

I've been taking it to NFL games and using it to shoot plays from far distances with results that have been very pleasing to me. The 50x optical zoom is just incredible. 3D photos are pretty cool as well. I would definitely recommend this camera for anyone looking for a bit more than point and shoot.

Sat in the nosebleed section of Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indy at the state wrestling tourney in low light and zoomed in on the action like I was matside with crystal clear video! Outstanding pictures!
