Bought to have a nice camera to take pictures of my children for Christmas, some turned out and some were still blurry. My sisters regular Nikon point and shoot camera was getting better or just as good, for a whole lot cheaper. Now it does have better functions than a reg. Nikon or other camera etc. You can focus it manually and put it in sports mode, yet even when I went back to the store, we tried it out and it turned out a little blurry still. Great zoom, but my number one priority is clear pics with my kids moving and having fun. Thanks to Best Buy, they helped me find a better camera, one with exchangeable lens, but pictures are great!!! No blur, Canon dslr rebel t3i.

Perfect for my needs. When you zoom too far it gets a little blurry but way better than my old camera.

Very good quality photos and video from a relatively inexpensive camera. Easy to understand menu and excellent zoom lens.

Over all I am very happy with it. I have taken some very good pictures with it. I still have some learning to do on some of it's features, But it is a good point and shoot camera for people who don't want a complicated camera.

This is a Christmas gift so not sure but the price was right and will update after Christmas

The HX300 has to be the best point and shoot camera on the market. You talk about easy to use, and a great ZOOM wow!! And the steady shot modes, in photo and movie are unreal, smooth, clear shots. The menus are easy to navigate, and learn. I have had many cameras, from Cannon, Nikon, Panasonic, etc. this is by far and away, the easiest, and best point and shoot out there. I have purchased many, many Sony products in my years, and I mean MANY, I think they have hit a home run with the HX300.

New, and used on a trip. Fairly pleased with ease of operation, but really miss the touchscreen of my older Sony cyber-shot. Used mostly on auto settings, and picture sharpness seems good. seems fairly quick between shots.

I got this camera because of the functions it could do and the cost. I didn't know I was getting so much more!! I LOVE my camera! I am still learning how to use it, but all the things I have learned, YEAH! I would defiantly recommend this camera to anyone! Just play around with it and figure it out or go and pay someone to teach you to use it! Don't forget to use a memory card that will be able to keep up with the camera! Did I say I LOVE this camera!

I purchased this camera to use while visiting family and on vacation. I would purchase this camera again. Good choice, easy to carry and not bulky.
