This camera is awesome! Even though the instruction booklet was not very good At explaining how to use the camera it is an excellent camera. It has many settings so u just have to experiment. The zoom is amazing and the pictures are crystal clear. I've used it on vacation and at little league ball games and have been able to stop the ball in mid air with a clear precise picture. There is nothing I don't love about this camera. There is auto for those that want to use it and manual for others. Best camera I've ever owned and I've owned many as I've done professional sports photography in the past.

BOUGHT IT FOR MY WIFE AS A PRESENT AND WELL , SHE LOVES IT . EASY TO USE AND PICTURE QUALITY IS PRETTY IMPRESSIVE. TAKE GREAT PICS.. VERY HAPPY .. ONLY COMPAINT IS THAT IT DOESNT HAVE A LENS CAP STRING TO ATTACH TO THE CAMERA, SO YOU WONT LOSE IT. OTHER THAN THAT IS A GOOD BUY.

Really takes nice pictures, even in low light, as long as you are not zoomed out too far. Lots of picture modes, but navigating these modes via the menus is not as easy as I had hoped, and no manual is included. That being said, once you figure out what setting does what you can really get some interesting pictures. 50x telephoto is great! Shutter button seems a bit sensitive. Overall, great all-in-one camera!

This is an excellent camera with lots of high end features.

Know who Carl Zeiss was, and why his name is still on optics. Only then will you appreciate the fact that Sony seen fit to build a Bridge camera with his legacy at the focal poiint. For those of us who are at this level, there should be no shame. This camera wasn't designed to give you a false sence of being a so called "committed, & aspiring Photographer". Rather, it was designed to bring out the best in your passion for capturing that moment in time which speaks to you, & motivates you to take another shot because the last one blew you away so much that you wanna top it! It's a gross understatement to deem this camera as "good for the price range" or any other mechanical statement in review. I see it as a stepping stone to the next level of my personal growth in my passion for capturing and sharing the moments in time that mean something to Me.

I do wish I had purchased the model that allows you to wirelessly share pictures, but in order to get the one that charges on the charger I could not get that model. It was a tough choice. The camera is a bit large.

Features, quality, this model has it all. I paid full price and have zero regrets waiting for the inevitable price drop. Buy this camera.

We really enjoyed using this camera, but it decided not to turn on anymore. It started when the image turned pink with a green line down the left side. We thought it was an issue with the lcd/view finder, but when taking a picture it recorded the same image. Within a couple of days the camera became unresponsive. Since the camera is out of warranty I took it apart. Looks like there is an issue with the design of the arm that connects the lcd screen, but still doesn't explain why the image recorded the way it did, and why it died. There are certainly some design issues. I think we are done with Sony products for a while, especially after getting burned on this camera that was hardly used. Hundreds down the drain.

Love this camera. It is everything I wanted and more.

The picture quality is great and the zoom is fantastic. I good amount of options without having to go to school to learn about it like an SLR.

charging indicator light never came on so it was not charging. Never did get to turn the camera on. Called Best Buy and spent 39 minutes, yes 39 minutes on hold just to be told to go to the store. Bravo Best Buy

Sony will not honor a warranty if something happens to your camera in the course of normal use. Our setting dial came off and they said it was "damaged," and not covered by the warranty. That was within 9 months of purchase. Their service department was rude, would not return calls or emails, offered a discount on a new camera then said no, the discount was only on a lesser camera. They could care less about the customer.
